About

A modern tactical RPG with some of our favorite elements: gridless movement, environmental cover, specialized overwatch, initiative manipulation and more. Independent enemy unit AI opens up a world of creative combat tactics & stealth options; pick them off one by one, stage diversions, or use advanced tech to sneak right by them.
Combat is challenging and in-depth. Powerful abilities, tricked out weapons, and smart coordination can give you an edge, but once you go loud expect things to escalate. Move fast and avoid getting pinned down to accomplish your objectives and get out alive.

The ecosystem has collapsed. Only 112 cities remain, sheltering under massive domes or inside of mountains. Artificial consciousness has been created, killed, and outlawed at a global level. Megacorporations, nanotech and quantum computing have radically altered the world… and your character is one of the few equipped to handle it.

Choose your jobs to build your rep without taking on too much heat. Work your network of underworld contacts to trade favors, pay bribes, and gain advantages before taking on a heist. Plan your path through multi-stage missions, and commit your crew to legwork that could reveal new opportunities or threats.

Balance factions, favors, reputation and more. Rivals, fixers, arms dealers and corporate big shots... who you work for, who you fail or betray, all of it can open and close opportunities for you. Watch your heat, and try to make sure more people owe you than the other way around.

Extensive talent trees, more than 40 multiclass combinations, weapon modding, safehouse upgrades, evolving character traits and more combine to give players endless ways to build a crew that can take on any job. Rich visual customization (hair, outfits, faces, eyes, tattoos, facial hair, accessories, color options for everything, and more) & naming lets you personalize any of your characters.

Your squad members evolve as you play, shaped by your choices, their injuries, interactions, even their presence on some missions. Inspired by years of tabletop RPGs, our custom-built Casting Director story engine uses all this information to choose and place squad members and NPCs into world events and storylines it selects for you on each playthrough. Who will end up a betrayer, a friend in need, or the villain this time? Create new squads, discover new stories, and watch how your choices make it all fit together.

I have been following the Trese Brothers for years back to Android turn-based games. They are clearly fans of any genre they produce games in, showing both appropriate knowledge and understanding of the genre as well as game design. Well worth more than they charge. Excellent turn based team tactics as well as rpg mechanics.
If you enjoy turn based squad tactics, this game is a no brainer. Way more depth than most of the AAA games, with developers that are constantly updating and improving their games. Squad development has so much depth and options, you might wish they had less. Deciding what to shoot for in your build isn't an easy choice. You can play stealthy to try and get in and out quickly, which can involve removing bodies you have eliminated and hacking security systems. You can go in guns blazing, but be prepared for the reinforcements that are called. Storylines and quests from your squads, endless customization, and contacts that you can buy and sell from depending on your reputation with them. Screw someone over, and you can burn a contact. You can make enemies with powerful corporations, or friends. You can find, steal, or hack and download blueprints for powerful weapons, armor, mods and more. Just buy it, and get ready for many hours to be run playing this amazing game.
I bought this game back in 2024 and I didn't get round to playing it up until a couple of weeks ago. My expectations for it were super low coming from the developers of Star Traders: Frontiers. But wow was I surprised, this game is great. It might actually be my favourite in the genre. Having said that it was a very rough start, just like their previous title they have stuffed it with a multitude of mechanics, most of which are unexplained. There is a tutorial, but not only is it not that helpful it actually confuses matters. I think if you'd played this from early access release it wouldn't have been so overwhelming as you'd have been drip fed new mechanics over time. If you force yourself to push past the beginning though it gets much better, you learn which mechanics are important and which you can just ignore. The graphics are pretty bad, all the characters look like they're riding an invisible horse, but it doesn't detract from the gameplay, which as I said is great. The progression system for your base and your characters are in depth and engaging, and there are loads of different weapons and armour to kit out your team. Unfortunately you can generally only have 4 team members take part in a mission, you can't upgrade that like in XCOM, which limits you from trying out new classes as they appear. As a result my team of 4 was virtually unchanged throughout the entire game. The gameplay is highly customisable for instance if you hated the timed missions in XCOM or indeed the timed entire game of XCOM2 you can turn that off completely. You can also make the enemies/events easier or harder at any point. This is a very refreshing change. In summary the game was really enjoyable, I highly recommend it.

I bought this looking for something to fill the void left by the classic Sega Genesis Shadowrun, and it blew my expectations away. Turn-based games aren't usually my thing, but the tactical depth, squad customization, and tension during runs make every mission insanely addicting. It captures that dark, mercenary cyberpunk vibe perfectly while bringing modern strategy mechanics to the table. Highly recommended

Amazing game, as expected from T-Brothers. Job well done Guys.
