About

A modern tactical RPG with some of our favorite elements: gridless movement, environmental cover, specialized overwatch, initiative manipulation and more. Independent enemy unit AI opens up a world of creative combat tactics & stealth options; pick them off one by one, stage diversions, or use advanced tech to sneak right by them.
Combat is challenging and in-depth. Powerful abilities, tricked out weapons, and smart coordination can give you an edge, but once you go loud expect things to escalate. Move fast and avoid getting pinned down to accomplish your objectives and get out alive.

The ecosystem has collapsed. Only 112 cities remain, sheltering under massive domes or inside of mountains. Artificial consciousness has been created, killed, and outlawed at a global level. Megacorporations, nanotech and quantum computing have radically altered the world… and your character is one of the few equipped to handle it.

Choose your jobs to build your rep without taking on too much heat. Work your network of underworld contacts to trade favors, pay bribes, and gain advantages before taking on a heist. Plan your path through multi-stage missions, and commit your crew to legwork that could reveal new opportunities or threats.

Balance factions, favors, reputation and more. Rivals, fixers, arms dealers and corporate big shots... who you work for, who you fail or betray, all of it can open and close opportunities for you. Watch your heat, and try to make sure more people owe you than the other way around.

Extensive talent trees, more than 40 multiclass combinations, weapon modding, safehouse upgrades, evolving character traits and more combine to give players endless ways to build a crew that can take on any job. Rich visual customization (hair, outfits, faces, eyes, tattoos, facial hair, accessories, color options for everything, and more) & naming lets you personalize any of your characters.

Your squad members evolve as you play, shaped by your choices, their injuries, interactions, even their presence on some missions. Inspired by years of tabletop RPGs, our custom-built Casting Director story engine uses all this information to choose and place squad members and NPCs into world events and storylines it selects for you on each playthrough. Who will end up a betrayer, a friend in need, or the villain this time? Create new squads, discover new stories, and watch how your choices make it all fit together.

Honestly the best modern x-com esq game of this type I have ever played.
Overall I love this game, in some ways even more than X-Com WOTC. The cyberpunk vibe is very compelling. Very well crafted skill trees and class/professions make for satisfyingly complex layers of different tactics and excellent stealth system. Good mix of combat, base-building and team management/contact management. The devs are very active on the forums and very willing to listen to people and accomodate requests. Highly recommended. This is one of the good ones. I look forward to when modding support is brought in.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game consumed me for a full week. It’s a fun game and something different from my repeated xcom 2 plays. Do wish there were more classes and cosmetic options. Have one save that just blasts through everything another to stealth and it’s fun seeing how the different approaches affect things. Love to see more of the worlds lore as it seems an interesting setting.
If you fancy yourself a fan of Xcom and Shadowrun game mechanics then do yourself a favor and grab this. What was surprising to me after playing some hours in was most of the bugs and complaints people had from video reviews 3+ months ago aren't even present in the current game because of how often they update and make changes from the feedback
This game is basically that stealth turn from X-Com 2 expanded into a standalone game. The mechanics are challenging but rewarding once you figure them out, the dynamic storylines are engaging and the classes are fun and meaningfully different, though balance can be an issue (looking at you Vanguard). Special shout-out to the devs who have rolled out like a hundred patches in the time between me buying it and actually playing it.
So I get the developers are constantly adding updates and have good communication, which is great, and I loved their previous game startraders frontiers (clocked hundreds of hours). Unfortunately this game falls short. Fundamentally, there's so few ways to progress or solve issues/missions you are forced to play in certain ways, and because of the tedious starting missions, you can't treat it like a roguelike as there's a significant time investment to "restart" (unlike startraders). If you hate the hacking minigame (which I do) it basically completely kneecaps you in being able to progress, and even some character plotlines/quests become unfinishable, meaning if you want to be successful (without having lots of characters dying) then you HAVE to make sure you level up and have good hackers. For comparision, in startraders, there are so many ways once could approach a mission, and because you can build a crew that meets your needs relatively quickly, you have the capability of solving any challenge with enough experience and prep. Here if your hacker needs to repair their deck, or is incapacitated/dead, etc you're completely f-d. While I admit I haven't fully explored the possibilities of the game as much as star traders, as far as I could discern, there was no real way for me to hire a new hacker to make up the manpower shortage. This basically invites savescumming and makes hardcore/single save playthroughs deeply unsatisfying, as there's no tactical or strategic reward (no way to plan), you either have the luck of hiring the class you need, or you don't and you're screwed. Of course, you can multiclass a character to hacker to make up the difference, but in the end you just have a sub-par hacker which makes the minigame even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to play and less fun. If there was an option to actively recruit the classes you want in a timely and non-frustrating manner, OR a way to solve various problems through more than one means (e.g have the options to solve a problem either through hacking, or a "go-in-hot". Get rid of ONLY hacking missions) then this would definitely make the game much less frustrating and more satisfying to play.
我很早之前就买了游戏,但游戏只有英文没有中文一直没玩,现在测试版有中文了,好评
Going to put the exceptional parts of this game right here: progression feels just about right to keep you hooked - the frequency of the updates (at least every other week, sometimes more often, and we're talking content here not just bug fixes) - character builds feel meaningful - artwork is excellent - writing is really cool (even though its procedural, its still easily convincing enough to keep you immersed) ...and honestly I feel like I could go on forever. If you enjoy x-com or especially the HBS Shadowrun trilogy, you need to play this. I think as soon as the workshop is enabled and the modding tools are in the hands of fans this game is going to become mental (and I for one am hoping someone eventually makes a total overhaul for the Shadowrun setting...)
Brilliant squad/base management game, which does it better than the modern Xcom games for me (which I do enjoy). The Mechanics are pretty in-depth but are worth figuring out and really rewarding when you do. It's kind of XCOM mixed with Invisible Inc, set in a Megacorp infested nearish future. Decent plot and character interactions too, though it's all text, with no VA. No noticible bugs and runs well.
Grandioses Spiel.
