We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Last time I played Crysis 2 was at release, back when I was still in school. I didn’t like it back then - and turns out I had good reason. I’ve just finished it again, and my impressions haven’t changed. I always liked Crytek’s earlier games, Far Cry and Crysis, for their open levels and the freedom to approach objectives in multiple ways. Vehicles added variety and let you create your own epic moments - storming a camp by boat, crashing into a shack in a jeep while jumping on the mounted gun and shooting down anything that moves. Sure, those games didn’t have engaging story - but who cared? Crysis 2 became a generic corridor shooter. The levels are drastically small, often offering just a single route. There are a couple of vehicles - a jeep and a tank - but there’s nowhere to use them, as you're constantly locked in small arenas The nanosuit was also simplified. In the first game, you manually switched between modes, adapting to each situation and feeling like you are indeed an operator that must constantly balance the power of different subsystems. In the sequel - one button for "armor" and that's all you need. The gameplay lost its depth. Making levels small didn’t do anything to help the AI either - they still run around randomly or get stuck in textures just like before. Back then, the story felt strange and incomprehensible to me. Now I understand why: the story structure is fragmented. The protagonist teleports across huge parts of the city between missions without explanation. You play as an errand boy - helping one character, then suddenly working for another, and none of it really connects. It seems like Crytek was trying to catch success of Call of Duty, stuffing the game with scripted events and dramatic sequences. 13 years later, it feels more comical than epic. That was the moment the series lost its identity - and it’s no surprise that it ended up forgotten

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

quite boring at times but very fun. this game main menu is amazing and composed by hans zimmer
the suit's been streamlined for consoles, a few upgrades have been combined Like maximum strength only activating once you hold the melee button. Things that make sense, it's generally an improvement in every aspect (though i can't run fast as a car like the first game RIP maximum speed). Even shifting from an jungle island to the streets of new york. There are still plenty ways to tackle objectives whether it's loud and proud or stealthily picking them off, leaving plenty of room for replayability. Most of the weapons return from the first game, with the addition of new toys, an additional weapon for each class. Vehicle sections are hit and miss compared to the first game though, that VTOL section from the first game was spectacular. Usually consist of an APC or a jeep. They're alright. OH, and play with DirectX 9, Fullscreen with DX10 locks the the hz to 24 so i mean, Game's gonna look like a slideslow in fullscreen. Without patches directx9 fixes the issue, i went from like 24 frames to 300, had to limit them there. but still. Crysis > far cry i'll die on that hill yo.
a different opinion fron the most common ones: This is the best crysis, its gameplay, its history whichs gives you details about the last one, and its complex enough to get fully soaked on it. its completely worth it

лучшая игра
пророк
Super hero soldier against laughably bad enemy a.i. makes for a fun time.
