As of patch 1.13, I can indeed recommend the game for people who love games like Skyrim and other massive world games. While the lore is seriously badass, the story telling fails badly. Combat is meh end gets boring pretty quick. What kept me playing was the world, exploration, puzzles and finding ever nicer vistas. Yes, the initial hours are very difficult to pass but once you fight your way through chapter 4, the game just clicks. If the devs can fix the beginning hours of the game, It'd be golden, almost perfect.
Я окунулся в эту игру с головой и не достал дна, мне до него далеко.
Well.. Where to start.. Its been 400 hrs and finally I completed game and out of Hernand! enjoying atmosphere. This game is everything. Crimson Desert, I can honestly say this is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in years. The world is beautiful, exploration feels rewarding, the combat system is satisfying, and the boss fights are genuinely memorable. There is an incredible amount of content to discover, and it's clear that the developers put a lot of passion into creating this game. Of course, no game is perfect. There are still a few side quests that I'd love to see fixed, and I personally experienced a progression issue that prevented me from obtaining a required crafting material. However, what really stands out is how quickly the development team responds to feedback. The game is updated frequently, and bugs are being fixed at an impressive pace. That's why I'm confident the remaining issues will also be resolved. This is a passionate and talented team that clearly listens to its community, and I truly believe they will continue improving an already fantastic game. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend Crimson Desert. If you're looking for an immersive open-world action RPG with challenging combat, an amazing world to explore, and hundreds of hours of content, this game is absolutely worth your time. Thank you to the developers for creating such an incredible experience. I'm excited to see what the future holds for Crimson Desert!
100+ hours of gameplay and still a long way to go in my first run. Do yourself a favor and buy this game, unless you are a tiktok kid who can't stay focused for more than 1 minute, than move on and go play fortnite
Das Spiel ist total sinnlos. Zum einschlafen ist es vielleicht cool
Thank you, developers, for making such an incredible game. Crimson Desert launched with quite a few problems, but one thing was obvious from the very beginning: the developers genuinely cared. They listened to the players, fixed issues, and kept adding new features and great updates. After more than 100 hours, many of the problems I noticed on day one have already been addressed. I’ll try to keep this review short. The Good There is a lot to like about this game. First of all, I love the idea of having multiple playable characters and being able to switch between them. You can summon them as companions, although I have to admit that they are not always the most useful companions and tend to die quite often. The game also has a great variety of pets, horses, and other mounts, which makes exploring the world even more enjoyable. But one feature deserves a special thank-you: the transmog system. Finally, a game that does not force you to wear an ugly piece of armor just because it has better stats. You can wear the armor or outfit you actually like, upgrade it as much as you want, and, when you get tired of its appearance, transfer those upgrades to something else. This is such a simple idea, but it makes such a huge difference. More games should do this. The Bad I should start by saying that many of these issues may eventually be fixed. I have been playing since launch, and the game has already improved significantly. So most of what follows is based on things that personally bothered me. Other players may not have the same experience. The biggest problem for me is that the game gives you real freedom far too late. And I mean far too late. You have to play for around 60 hours before you can really start to understand the game and explore the world with any meaningful sense of freedom. And, honestly, you do not feel truly free until you have finished the main story. Damiana also disappears for several chapters, which is disappointing because you barely get to play as her for a significant portion of the game. The controls can also be incredibly frustrating at times. You jump in the wrong direction, fall, or spend way too long dragging objects around. This becomes especially annoying because the game has so many puzzles, environmental challenges, and those frustrating Abyss sections. You encounter them constantly, and you need to complete them both for the story and to unlock abilities. The achievement system is another major problem. The achievements are not necessarily difficult. Many of them are simply frustrating and poorly designed. You can spend hours trying to complete them, not because they require skill or intelligence, but because they depend on very specific conditions that are easy to miss and often difficult to discover. For example, one achievement requires you to kill 100 enemies with Antumbra’s sword. You get the sword relatively early in the game, but the specific Abyss Stone needed for the challenge can be found dozens of hours later. What happens if you sold the sword because you did not like it? Well, in my case, I would have to replay the game just to complete the achievement. And then there is Doublet — the poker-like game in Crimson Desert. Why do I have to win three games in a row? This is poker. Sometimes you get a bad hand and should fold instead of making a terrible bluff. But the game basically expects you to keep winning repeatedly under very specific conditions. The same goes for many other tedious challenges. Personally, I believe achievements should be fun and interesting to unlock. They should reflect the way you played the game, the choices you made, or the things you accomplished. This is not just about Crimson Desert. I feel the same way about achievements in games in general. Why did you choose one side instead of another? What kind of player were you? What did you accomplish during your journey? Those are the kinds of things that make achievements feel meaningful. At the very least, the game should track your progress toward challenges even before you officially discover them. That way, players would not have to repeat things they had already done simply because the game had not yet told them that those actions would eventually matter. And finally, the last major issue for me is the world itself. Visually, it is absolutely beautiful. The environments are detailed, the world is huge, and the settlements look fantastic. But despite all of that, the world still feels somewhat soulless to me. Final Verdict Crimson Desert is a very good game. It has flaws, but none of them were serious enough to make me uninstall it or regret buying it. On the contrary, I have already spent more than 100 hours in the game and enjoyed the vast majority of that time. Thank you to the developers for creating such an ambitious and enjoyable experience. I hope your future games will build upon Crimson Desert, fix the remaining issues, and take us to even more beautifully developed worlds. And maybe, one day, we will even get dark elves as well. ))) Thank you for the game!
The game volume is quite large, but only in terms of volume. After experiencing it all, there is a feeling of chaos and disorder, with a vast and open development world. Without lighting reconstruction, the graphics quality is two different games. It is not friendly to low configurations, and the game plot is optional. Game decryption is purely torturous without looking at the strategy. Whether it is task guidance or boss battle guidance, they are all mediocre. The most vulnerable one is the Wine Bucket Lord BOSS. When you were making the guide, did you follow the guide to fight against the BOSS? It was purely dog poop guidance. Summary: For the original price, this is just a piece of dog poop and not worth buying. Overall, the only difference is the large size. There are many designed things that can be experienced once and not for a long time, but none of them are done well
long and time consuming. tons to do worth the money
There are a lot of element in this game, but none of the element is interesting nor challenging. This game plays more like a simulator than Action RPG. The most challenging part is to memorize the buttons.
this game is the best.. cant be compared to KCD2 or RDR2 but there so much to explore in this game
