Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The story of Crimson Desert centers on Kliff. But as his tale unfolds, 2 new playable characters—Oongka and Damiane—will come to join your journey. As these characters become available, you will be able to freely explore Pywel and undertake many quests outside the main story with them. Each character has their own combat style, as well as unique skills and weapons, allowing you to experience the world and its battles in different ways.

Combat-wise, the game is too easy. Never-ending, boring, mindless combat to take over the forts. I can probably cook a 3-course meal in real life while taking over the forts on my laptop. I should have looked into the game more before buying; I like the more linear, difficult souls games like Elden Ring or Lies of P. It also starts wayyyyy to slowly. Again and again you have to follow people with your horse and listen to them talk so you can go do some easy quest. I thought after getting deep into Chapter 4 the game would stop making me do these stupid horse following tasks, but right after getting assigned another one to go learn to shoot arrows as if the player hadn't learned that themselves by now, I came here to write my review. I fully regret spending $100 CAD on this game, it's not worth that much. They think because the game is long they deserve to charge $100.

Every market we collect.
Same day: best KR #2, worst UK #22 · 14 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Of the 13 markets with a position on both sides, 12 climbed and 1 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · United States has just 10 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 1,677 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you like open world slop, then this game is for you. I immediately saw what kind of game it was when I started playing, and I am glad I refunded it. This is only a game to play if you think the combat looks fun, and you want a time sink. The little bit of story I saw seemed atrocious. I didn't even like the combat that much. This game is literally all flash but no substance.
Controls are clunky af, story mode ain't good, graphics are good tho
Beautiful game, gave me that Skyrim/RDR2 open-world feel. While the scope is admirable, the inclusion of such a huge number of poorly explained mechanisms/systems left me feeling confused about....everything. After 38 hours, I still can't keep track of all the keyboard commands, skills, etc... Its just all too much. Combined with some poor boss design (looking at you Excavator) and lack of detailed explanations of so many mechanics it led to me spending more time googling questions than actually playing the game. I wore out. Got to hand it to the Devs though, its absolutely beautiful and a joy to explore.
