Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The game got worse after the update and won't even launch now. It says "There may be a problem with the game installation. Please reinstall." Really hope the devs fix this soon!
不好玩,许多功能还放在主线后期解锁,但剧情比原神还诡异让人没有玩下去的动力,只能说画质不错

Every market we collect.
Same day: best KR #2, worst UK #22 · 14 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Of the 13 markets with a position on both sides, 12 climbed and 1 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · United States has just 10 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 1,677 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've spent too much time ranting to my friends about how bad this game is, and how frustratingly close it gets to being good and just falling flat on its face. I'm frankly tired of talking about it, and I think that summarizes how I feel after completing this game. There's just so much that was almost done well but seems to fundamentally misunderstand game design, or the aspects of other games that are being imitated. So many parts of the game feel hastily cobbled-together, half-assed to pad the game time, as if just creating a huge game was the goal, and creating a good experience was an afterthought. It's weird how poorly strung together the quests are, how the introduction quests are duplicated for every area of the game, how a lot of the equipment is completely identical in stats and devoid of mechanical complexity... it's a really long list of weird decisions. I can see why some players might enjoy this, but with the budget and scope behind a game like this I'm hoping I at least get something novel, or a heartfelt attempt at making something, but Crimson Desert is not that. It's just so much filler. It's sad that the most novel thing about Crimson Desert is just the sheer volume of it. I doubt any amount of patches are going to fix this game. I kept thinking it was going to tie itself together somehow, but as I kept playing it became increasingly clear that the best thing I was going to get out of finishing this game was how much better the next RPG will feel in contrast. The experience itself isn't worth completing, never mind paying money for this game, and frankly I think that's a shame. I hope Pearl Abyss re-evaluates their approach to making single-player games, and creates something better in the future.
This game does not respect your time.
Combat-wise, the game is too easy. Never-ending, boring, mindless combat to take over the forts. I can probably cook a 3-course meal in real life while taking over the forts on my laptop. I should have looked into the game more before buying; I like the more linear, difficult souls games like Elden Ring or Lies of P. It also starts wayyyyy to slowly. Again and again you have to follow people with your horse and listen to them talk so you can go do some easy quest. I thought after getting deep into Chapter 4 the game would stop making me do these stupid horse following tasks, but right after getting assigned another one to go learn to shoot arrows as if the player hadn't learned that themselves by now, I came here to write my review. I fully regret spending $100 CAD on this game, it's not worth that much. They think because the game is long they deserve to charge $100.
Poorly executed and short-sided game play. I should not get locked into a new quest every other time I return to my storage. Movement and targeting in combat is almost random. There are too many skills and mechanics and the game feels like a chore rather than fun.
I was given this product for free through AMD Graphic Card purchase with my new PC. The reviews aren't wrong. I read everything about the bugs and the horrible key binds and those aren't even remotely far off. The key binds and controls are horrific. When you first play this game, the sheer expanse is mind boggling. Graphics are top notch. But gameplay is the same "go here talk to A then go to B then go back to A" wash, rinse, repeat for the first 69 hours I put into the game that I eventually just gave up. The storyline is fine, but the characters and voice dialogue sound like a fresh pass from Chat GPT. I recommend to experience as what gaming could be capable of, but wouldn't recommend until they update the QOL and controls.
