Oynadığım en kötü oyunlardan biri. Adam akıllı hiçbir şey öğretmeden ve göstermeden atıyor bizi ortaya. Oyunu kapatamama rağmen hala başım dönüyor.

Mechanics and features: Cool and beautiful intro video that explains the setting. The story is about a pandemic on different planets in a futuristic world.
Crime Cities is more of a 3D meaningless space shooter than a "futuristic vehicle simulator" as much of its design is heavily inspired by Descent³ yet lacks the entertainment value to rival said game and did not provide anything revolutionary for its time due to its generical gameplay and sterile atmosphere. In contemporary times, players will have to tolerate a dated user interface that has not been optimized for modern resolutions (1920 x 1080), resulting in the ship's interior on the screen being just barely readable. Aside from the hideous technical aspects, the video game centers around the player accepting hackneyed contracts to progress the story and earn enough money to replenish their shield and weaponry, as each contract usually spawns nearly a dozen enemies that take up far more time and effort than they are worth. By and large, this product apparently failed in its mission to be next-level in its time and is therefore another decrepit game left to collect dust in the Steam store, primarily for the sake of intellectual property protection.
A solid blend of Quarantine (the game) and Bladerunner. Very fun and ambitious for the time, with great atmosphere and some solid music. But it's main problem is in its resolution. You can't make it too high, or else it crops out the hud in gameplay. The highest you can play it at is 1280 x 1024, but it's still fun. The game throws a lot at you, but you get the hang of it.
Not sure why but the game crashes when I'm in shop menu. I anyone know a fix, please do tell me. Until then, I cannot recommend this game.
一坨大便!!多少年了都没有见过这么烂的游戏!!

This game can feel like it has a lot of problems, but almost all of those “flaws” come from being an older game or from its small team. Put another way, this is a really awesome game with an impressively ambitious concept and solid gameplay … but you kinda have to intuit what you're doing sometimes and even on Normal difficulty the challenges are tough and stressful. Starting with the positives, if you've ever wanted a game that plays like the flying cars in movies, this might be the perfect sim of operating a flying battle car in very vertical and populated futuristic cities while doing shady jobs for shady people. The idea seems to be Grand Theft Auto if the hero was Bruce Willis in The Fifth Element and he never left his taxi because he had email and online shopping. The story is a neat crime noir thriller full of gangs and evil corporations. Our ace pilot protagonist is an undercover cop sent to find a missing guy on a prison planet, and between odd jobs in combat against a variety of enemy types, your hacker friend updates you on the search. You're expected to fight without harming the random nearby civilians, manage your shields which have to be recharged at repair centers for a hefty cost, then decide when to buy new car parts and whether you need any of the expensive secondary weapons. There's an option to buy a new ID if the cops are angry at you, but save scumming feels easier. You fly around and explore three cities with increasingly dangerous inmate citizens and complex missions. The first city has a classic dark cyberpunk feel with cold and brutal skyscrapers, the second gets creative with a polygonal grid city of cone shaped buildings and gray dead areas, and the third is an epic corporate fortress built layer upon layer from the ground to the sky. Ads for music and sex and weapons float high above or remain bolted to buildings. Despite being an older game, this installed with very few problems (though I did follow a guide and there was a sound issue I'll get to) and I only experienced two crashes. A Demo video and a Tutorial level in the main menu are excellent places to learn the essential basics of flying, fighting, reading email and completing missions. I love the email and shopping systems for being fiddly and very in-universe, though I wish the former let me sort and archive messages, and I wish the latter didn't reset. That's all the good parts, now for the rough edges. An FPS needs to have great guns, but this has a few good energy weapons and a lot of mediocre secondary weapons which I rarely used because they weren't cost effective. They all have cool descriptions, but the energy weapons recharge for free while you pay for every shot from the secondaries. If a secondary weapon hit, their damage seemed far too low for their stats and I wasn't sure their damage radius was working. Only the laser weapons with their recharging energy felt like I wasn't throwing money away. None of that would be an issue if money was plentiful, but the only way to earn is through missions, which tend to involve danger and so you have to spend money afterwards to recharge your shields … sometimes spending more than you make. Enemies follow you no matter how quickly you escape or how far you go, which is tough when you're not earning extra for defeating them. All of this would be a lot more forgiving if you could do endless low-risk delivery jobs outside the missions. Quick delivery missions or Crazy Taxi work would be fun in these big vertical cities. Sometimes the missions are scams or jokes which don't feel funny, though clearly someone had fun making the scifi character portraits which pop up beside emails. Boss fights often have some story weight, but they're too easy if you can fire accurately while circle strafing. The ending felt kind of abrupt and left some hanging plot threads, then a cinematic goes in completely unexpected directions, like maybe they were setting up a sequel or larger game. Also, the 6DoF genre basically perfected the control style this game wants to have; the side-to-side dodging is immediate and useful, yet the forward and back movement is based around acceleration which means you have to slow down before you can reverse. The car can't dodge up or down despite how that should work the same as the side-to-side dodging. Volume controls don't work, so downloading the New Quiet version of the Track02 music (check the Discussions forum) is absolutely essential for hearing anything else in this game. Small stationary guns do a lot of damage and are very hard to hit. Escort missions are painful as usual. Tiny green text will appear on screen which is hard to see against the background, and can give important information for a mission. You'll spend a lot of time loudly scraping your shields against nearby objects because your car is bigger than it feels. Despite all of these complaints though, I had a great time with this relatively short combat flying adventure. The controls and gun options felt bad compared to modern games, but this classic gem has cool cities, interesting characters, a gritty feel and a pretty good plot. If you don't mind a challenge and like flying cars that shoot lasers, this is an easy recommendation.
Fun game, though lacks modern support
Crime Cities is one of those games that does something I've never really seen done in any other game, even now in 2026, slowly closing onto three decades since the release of the game. Just the concept alone of driving a flying car in different cities on different planets as you do odd jobs and blast through enemies is something I wish I could've experienced sooner as the execution is also really well done. It's not too hard to get used to the controls, the mechanics aren't too complex and it's easy to get into and learn. Now, why don't I recommend buying this game? From my experience on two different operating systems (Windows, Linux CachyOS) the game crashes at points which are kind of crucial to the progression in the game. You can spend maybe 15 minutes just flying around, getting used to the controls, doing your first few jobs but whenever you access the weapon or equipment shop the game freezes and either crashes or forces you to close it. Now you probably could get through a significant chunk of the game without buying anything, especially on Very Easy difficulty but that kind of ruins the progression in the game. There's also no proper support for wide and ultrawide monitors as the HUD ends up off the screen though that's expected and not necessary as you can set the resolution when you start the game (4:3 recommended). I've tried to look for a fix to the crashing issue and haven't found an answer. If this game gets an update that addresses this issue or I can find a way to get past the crashes I would happily recommend this game to anyone interested in such a setting, shame I can't in it's current state.
