About
Fellow Gamers,
We designed Helluva Heist to be a laughter-filled adventure that embraces the fun, the frustrating, the chaotic, and the purely ridiculous moments of gaming with friends. If you’re looking for a non-stop dopamine rush of hilarious sabotage, this is the game for you.
For the optimal experience, we highly recommend playing with at least 3 other friends. For the best experience: heists with 6+ players escalate quickly into full-blown, beautiful mayhem.
As a Robber:
Join a high-stakes group heist with your friends.
Steal over $15M in cash from the vault/safes.
Crush rival robber teams standing in your way.
Survive intense shootouts with the Police.
Don’t let the Disruptors spoil your plan.
Adapt to random, unknown events that change the game.
Extract the loot to claim your victory.
As a Disruptor:
Sabotage the heist in your own way, be a silent shadow or a loud menace.
Choose to either support or destroy the robber teams for your own gain.
Turn a tactical operation into total mayhem.
No rules, no limits, just play it your way.
We are planning to add more features after the Early Access:
Get skins (characters, guns), new characters with your Heist Coin.
New maps, events for more fun.
And other features according to your suggestions.

Really fun shooter, especially with friends! The chaos and sabotage mechanics are really interesting and keep matches from feeling predictable. It’s still Early Access, however, so it needs more content, but the core idea is strong and already very enjoyable. Definitely worth trying with a group!
Early Access — and it shows. Everywhere.
Helluva Heist tries to be a co-op PvE heist game about teamwork, roles, masks, coordinated robberies… but in reality, if you don’t have friends dragging themselves into this, you’re just playing solo against bots and broken mechanics.

Right now, there are basically no players. At all. You queue up → nothing. You host a lobby → it’s just you. So the whole “co-op heist” idea collapses immediately.
The concept sounds good on paper — different teams, coordinated actions, disruption mechanics — but none of it really works when you’re alone, and right now that’s the default experience.
Enemy AI is painfully bad: bots stare into walls, ignore you walking up behind them, glitch into objects, ragdolls break randomly. At one point a bot was literally stuck against a wall like it forgot how movement works. Another flies like a bird after received some bullets.
Gunplay is inconsistent and awkward: no fire mode switching, tap firing kind of works, but if you try to transition into spraying it just doesn’t register properly. The shotgun is almost useless, effective range feels like ~2-3 meters, anything beyond that is random. The pistol is somehow more reliable than the shotgun. The AK is the only weapon that feels somewhat functional — not good, just “less broken.”
Loadout system is barebones: can’t rename loadouts, the game randomly picks one for you, and you’re locked into it for the whole match.
Map situation is unclear — maybe there’s one, maybe more are locked — hard to tell when you’re stuck solo with no guidance.
Core gameplay loop is a mess: I grabbed around 10 million, fought through bots and constant environmental hazards, delivered everything… and still got a “you failed” with no clear explanation.
Events actively punish solo players: bomb on your head that needs to be passed to a teammate (you don’t have one), timer runs out → you die, grenade storms constantly forcing movement, random chaos that feels designed for a different game.
Environmental hazards don’t even interact properly with enemies: floating lightning orbs just pass through bots and only affect the player.
Movement and environment logic are inconsistent: rooftop glass looks breakable but isn’t, climbing feels unreliable, but at the same time death mechanics are exploitable — it’s literally faster to grab money, jump off the roof, die, respawn, pick it up, and deliver it than to play normally.
Solo mechanics make no sense: you get downed and start crawling… for what? No one is coming to revive you. Even the “last stand” feels pointless.
The hub looks okay visually but interaction is minimal: weapon testing does nothing when you press the F key, shooting range and gear are marked “Coming Soon,” the whole place feels like a showcase of unfinished features.
“Disruption teams” sound interesting, but I couldn’t test them at all because solo play makes half the systems irrelevant.
Scoreboard/stat tracking is broken or misleading: it shows things like extracted money (fine), deaths (fine), and “kills” — but the numbers make zero sense. It says I got 5 kills when I clearly dropped way more bots during a single run. So what exactly is being counted? Players? There are no players. Bots? Then why 5? The stats feel random and unreliable.
And of course, despite all this, there’s already a Supporter Pack available.

Overall: not recommended right now. Maybe with friends it could be fun — but since nobody’s playing, good luck with that. Also, realistically — competing with established AAA PvE/co-op games in this state is going to be rough. Right now it doesn’t feel like it has a clear audience or a reason to pick it over anything else.
This game is actually a blast. The whole 3-faction warfare thing is a fresh take and has some serious potential. Total blast playing co-op with the boys, we couldn't stop laughing at the chaos. Just hope the devs keep the updates rolling and don't let it turn into a dead game. Definitely worth picking up if you're looking for some solid fun!
This game is awesome, the best part of the game is when I close the game and never play it again.
If PAYDAY had a dysfunctional sibling, it would be Helluva Heist. The intro looks like AI-generated trash, shader compilation takes forever, and for some reason you can shoot in the lobby—which is just weird. The lobby itself is also oddly designed: you pick roles at a bar to start the game, and there are tons of useless dead-end areas. After spawning, it’s unclear where to go, but once I wandered around and saw the bank, it became obvious. The gameplay is incredibly boring: press F, wait for the safe to open, then fight off bots that always know where you are and run straight at you. The only ways to tell you’re being shot are your HP dropping or seeing bullet tracers—bots don’t even have proper shooting sounds. So the entire gameplay loop is just moving an item from point A to point B. I didn’t notice any real variety in weapons or maps. The only positives I can mention are decent graphics and the weapon physics when moving the mouse. Oh, I also forgot—at the end of the game, grenades were falling endlessly all over the map. No idea if that’s actually intended. Overall, the developers should focus less on adding monetization and more on actually improving the game.
Like alot of other reviewers said game has an awesome concept obviously its in early access so i wouldnt recommend it in its current state, i really like the idea of this game and think it can be molded into somthing awesome.
Even for free its not worth.
