I really like it. There's no waiting around for something to finish, and even though the levels at the end are long, there's always something to do. There's not very much story, but the little bits they give you make sense and really fuels you.
WOW. It's a real shame IXE is 2d because I can't imagine the CW franchise as anything but 3D. The only improvement to be made is VR and haptic support, but that is a long shot. 10/10. Would recommend.
good
ah yes, using high powered cannons to fight off fluids and dry the land
WOW SO COOL AND FUN
This game hits all the notes in a light base building/survival game. Played versions from 2 onward. I still fire it up occasionally for a random map to get a quick fix. Just so satisfying to clean up that Creep!
Fun game especially with Play As Creeper maps.
The gameplay in Creeper World 4 is where this game truly shines. It perfectly balances expansion, resource management, offense, and defense, constantly forcing you to think several steps ahead. The Creeper remains the star of the show—flowing like a living liquid across the terrain and making every hill, valley, and mountain strategically important. Classic mechanics like collectors, relays, reactors, and the ever-expanding energy network are as satisfying as ever, while fan favorites like cannons, mortars, beams, and aircraft all have meaningful roles instead of feeling overpowered. The jump to fully 3D terrain is a game-changer, adding an entirely new layer of strategy as elevation directly affects both the Creeper and your defenses. What really impressed me is how well the new mechanics blend into the formula instead of replacing what made the series great. Terrain deformation, spores, emitters, anti-creeper, nullifiers, drones, orbital weapons, and the expanded unit variety all feel like natural evolutions of the original design, giving experienced players more tactical options without overwhelming newcomers. Every mission presents a unique puzzle that rewards planning, adaptation, and efficiency rather than brute force. Few strategy games manage to introduce so many new ideas while staying true to their roots, but Creeper World 4 does exactly that. It's not just the best game in the series—it's one of the finest real-time strategy games ever made.
I genuinely don't know how I found this game but im glad I did cause. Its a fun base game and has a lot of modding potential!
