Creatures: The Albian Years

Game is a little buggy but can't deny that it's my favourite video game of all time and the logic is priceless

I loved these games when I was younger, I'm happy to see it on steam! The camera can be a hassle to work compared to newer games, but I like finally catching up with community notes and seeing these games as an adult. Nexus mods even has sections for all three games, but it looks like most of the mods from the 2000s are gone now. I recommend trying it if you want to see an older AI in action, and there is a wonderful documentary by Alan Zucconi that covers some of Creatures 1's game functions.

Such a fun game. It started all my gaming and enjoyment of simulation type games. I love the retro feel that doesn't detract form the actual fun of the game. I highly recommend this game.

If you are interested in the Creatures series but are afraid to jump right into the most advanced one (C3) C1 is a great place to start. A must-have for anyone interested in the idea of an 'advanced' virtual pet game. Your health kit will most likely be broken when you start the game; you can look up the fix for this as it's a quick renaming thing to fix. Then try launching the Health Kit while the game is running (from your Creatures folder) and it will work. Trying to launch it in admin mode can also work. Once you fix this the game is good. Community patches are available online for QOL fixes.

Great games, though with a few issues due to age. Still worth the time and money.

Концепция на века, что несправедливо не имеет должных аналогов на сегодняшний день. Но интерфейс и управление полный бздец - играть в такое без напряга в 2026 невозможно.

Both Creatures games one great low price

Очень милая игра <3 Люблю малышей норнов. К сожалению плохо оптимизирована для современных ОС, в первой и второй частях у меня не работает набор генетики... В интернете не могу найти информацию по тому как это исправить. :(
