Amazing . I think nst maker makes the expeireince even better
I have to admit, I didn't have an opportunity to play the classic trilogy back in the day, although I did try playing the original first game before and I loved it. The remastered trilogy is quite fun to play. Each level felt unique and there was a reasonable amount of challenge from time to time. Boss battles were pretty cool. Soundtrack is awesome. Sometimes, however, the controls were a bit janky, especially in Warped, specifically the double jumps for some reason would not work sometimes, even though nothing else was interrupting them. These issues didn't appear a bit too often and it was difficult to ignore them, but they didn't happen all the time and the levels were beatable, so keep that in mind. If I am to compare the original first game and the remastered one, based on what I remember, the remastered version seems to work pretty well. Visuals are definitely nicer to some extent, although I feel like some minor details have changed (like specific defeat animations and other details similar to this one), In short, I think this was fun. I might dedicate more time to this, should I wish to 100% it. I'll consider giving a sequel a try, whenever I find time.
amazing, it was one of my childhood games and i only now found out it was on steam, amazing game.

A blast from the past. After finishing it in other devices, it is amazing to find out that it’s still great and steam deck. Totally worth your time.
High quality remakes that faithfully serve, or even elevate their original material are hard to come by and it's safe to assume that this trilogy is one those rare instances for the most part. While the PS1 graphics of the original games has that 'Looney Tunes' polygonal goofiness, this remake's art style holds it's own quite well, even if it's a little bright at times. Some of the redone tracks are excellent like Toxic Waste. Most are pretty good such as Future Frenzy and Turtle Woods. And then there's Bone Yard... As for the criticism, the FPS is capped at 60 - Which means more input lag. I followed every solution to break through that cap, but it always ends up with a black screen. So I suppose playing beyond 60 isn't what the devs intended. You should still play the original trilogy if you have them for nostalgia. Playing this is a good choice too, since it has rumble support and restoration of cut content.
