I enjoyed this game, it has a certain charm to it with its colorful characters, superb soundtrack (the battle theme alone was what drew me to buy the game), old school cinematics and a combat system that has you looking forward to the next skill that you unlock. I played on the hardest difficulty, which i don't recommend if you don't like long battles where you have to think a lot. The best part about this game is that is on sale all the time at a really cheap price, so if you love JRPGs, get it! Score: 8.5/10
El juego me llenó. Encontré exactamente lo que esperaba. Recomendado.

I got this game on sale for around 2$ after enjoying "This Way Madness Lies" from the same team. I had a lot of fun playing this one. It reminds me of PlayStation 1 JRPGS. The combat system is really fun.
Very good little RPG. There's nothing super deep about the characters and setting, but it's got a fun vibe and everything hits right. It's not long, ~15 hours if you skip the bonus content, but the pacing is brisk, the writing is just quipy enough to be fun without detracting and the art is great. On a gameplay side, there's a lot of good mechanics to balance and all the party members bring something unique to the team comp (Shoutout Psybe making me like a bard character). Building style + burst techniques is a solid system and there's plenty to play with + a challenging super-dungeon for those who want it. Overall, it's a tight, short RPG which was clearly made with care. It's not some sprawling epic, it's a labour of love from a small team that executed on exactly what they wanted to make. Strong recommendation!
start off slow but rly get it going later

Worth a play through. The combat has a buff and debuff system thats well built and not a chore to use. Its got a sci-fi setting and the characters are tropey in a good way and with that the games has a good sense of humor and i did catch myself laughing a few times lol Its very indie and worth a play through especially if you're tired of the fantasy setting most rpg's have
As a huge fan of 16-bit RPGs I enjoyed this game. The music is superb. The artwork is excellent. The retro animations are great. Exploration is fun. Combat is solid. Environments are interesting. The game took a bit to get going but grew on me. I found the general gameplay loop (explore, fight, talk, repeat) satisfying. The writing is mostly forgettable but doesn't get in the way of the overall experience. The characters are too shallow to care about. The smirky girl-bosses are cringe and far too common. Item management and character progression felt like an afterthought. Overall a decent and worthwhile retro RPG experience.
