Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

I want to give this game a recommend because out of all of the pokémon-likes that I've played, this one does seem to try its best to make it a game that has the same kind of appeal that pokémon has. I want to go on a silly adventure with my silly little team of silly little guys and Coromon does actually do that, with a a bit of a villainous team and a bit of a journey. Its framework is absolutely correct. It also is aware of the appeal its little critters can have and likes to play around with it in the same way I appreciate with pokémon. (Looking at you, Swurmy, I love you and you are perfect in every single way.) Basically the coromon appeal to me and endear me much like pokémon. I do not enjoy the puzzles, which many other reviewers have already pointed out heavily overstay their welcomes. Coromon feels sometimes as though it is designed for players who think the Ice Caves and Dark Caves are somehow the most breathstoppingly fun parts of pokémon. Personally, I can look past the navigational puzzles. They don't break me in any way. I just think it's tedious and really could have been shortened by like a third. I prefer a cohesive set dressing over receiving even more and more of the same puzzle to the point where it stops being fun. However, there's parts of the game that do break me to the point of wishing there just was a pity mechanic. God, the stealth sections are one of them. It's not that I can't do them, I can, eventually, but going through it is about as mind-numbing and fun as a tooth extraction. The needle you have to thread in some sections is so unbearably thin that I eventually just would rather quit the game, which is a shame, because I LIKE the rest of the gameplay a ton. Also, there was the mastermind puzzle. It...was bad. Look, I don't mind playing mastermind, whatever, but I am not GOOD at it, and haven't played or actively thought about it in years. And now I am thrown into a situation where every other round, my opponent decides to -cheat- at the game. I had no idea what to expect, thinking he could cheat at ANY moment and give me only 5 seconds to make my move, or scramble all my results, or any number of random things. It was dreadful. Never should a game's puzzle be so bad that you close the game, look up how to optimally solve a puzzle, and just follow that so you don't have to deal with it. I get that it's meant for funny purposes to make you hate the guy or think he's annoying but this was not the way to do that. I just completely disengaged and felt annoyed at the GAME instead. Why do I still recommend it? Because over the past few months I have seen the devs listen to some of the gripes players have. They removed the flappy bird puzzle which I thankfully NEVER had to experience because I started playing this game late. They've made the game less reliant on its initial mobile-first design of having daily logins and missions to unlock cosmetics which is...VERY weird for a primarily single player game. I think the devs will make more changes that address this issue as time goes on because the framework is there, and they really seem to get the vibe of going on a silly little adventure with your silly little creatures. So yeah, game's good, it's silly, it's just held back by some stuff that I hope gets addressed.
Now this is a how you make a creature-collecting, Pokémon-inspired game without completely ripping off the base material! My first impression of this game was that it was 'just another' Pokémon clone, but I was so wrong. It goes far beyond it and, while clearly inspired, it does so many things in it's own unique way that after only a couple hours of playing, comparing it to Pokémon (especially more modern Pokémon games) felt so wrong. A bit offensive, actually. Not to mention this game plays BEAUTIFULLY on the Steam deck. It was my favourite game to play during the UK heatwave, as I could get away from my toasty hot PC room and sit downstairs on the couch with my trusty Steam deck. It eats next to none of the battery - I was so impressed. My only issue is that the game did seem to randomly crash on a small handful of occasions, losing me a little bit of progress which was luckily more-or-less saved by the autosave feature. I lost one rare potent mon to this, sadly, but did manage to find it again some time later. It was never at all obvious why the game would crash - it seemed so random, that I found myself saving fairly frequently, just in case. I write this after finishing the main story but I will no doubt be back soon for some achievement hunting and potent/perfect mon grinding. Speaking of the potent/perfect system, I LOVE IT. Love love love it. 10/10 no notes. If you love Pokémon, especially the more classic titles, please give Coromon a shot! It will impress you without a doubt :)

They locked 2 achievements behind poorly optimized mini games that have nothing to do with the storyline. I have given up on completing this game because of how awful Flappy Swurmy is.
- character creation - cool Coromon, and you finally dont feel forced to evolve cause they get better perks if they stay the same - also recolors for Coromon to unlock - sidequests and story - great areas - beautiful (especially if you like pixel art) - nuzlocke mode - humor - like old Pokemon games with simple puzzles (red, silver) I dont get the people who are complaining about the puzzles , cause i personally think they were just right and i just hate new pokemon games cause they are so simple in every way. Great game!
the light sensei jump test is genuinely ridiculous. i don't know if the speed of the bar is based on refresh rate or what but it's near impossible to get 22 jumps without literally pixel perfect timing. either the cooldown for the jump button is too long or i land on the bar at 7 or 15 jumps exactly this thing needs fixing, i saw footage from before the remaster and it was perfectly fine! easy even! why is it moving 2x faster in my game with no change to the character's movement?? the only way i could beat this was by going into my graphics drivers and limiting the fps to 30, why should i have to do this to continue the main story??? how did this escape testing???? please fix thank you (it's possible that changing the refresh rate had no change and i only won because i timed my jumps through sheer luck by mashing, but that's more of a monkeys on typewriters situation than what was actually being asked of the player so either way something's gone wrong)
Great quality creature collector. However, there are simply not enough diverse Coromon. Every biom feels like your facing the same Coromon just their evolved forms the entire game. Not enough variety. Very boring after a while knowing you don’t really have new Coromon to get excited about capturing.
