Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I can do the grind. I can do min maxxing. I can do the shiny, perfect hunting. What I can't do? I think it was a really bad design choice to put janky puzzles into a game that is a creature collector. Are these puzzles hard? NO. That's not the problem. The problem is that you are fighting the game engine, the limited movement, the bad inputs, and the janky buggy game/engine. Or, you are fighting the designers - not the puzzle. Accidentally overstep and miss that switch? Well, gotta restart that fuse puzzle. The fuze puzzle isn't annoying enough? Gotta throw in some random time limits and blackouts. The ghost puzzles? God you are really fighting the inputs for that as those stupid godforsaken blobs bounce back on a three tile width areas. And it's a game over, reset back ten steps away, over and over and over. Same with the jumping. It's not the puzzle that's hard, it's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad controls and mechanics. I loathe games that make you fight the engine and leave the puzzle as a second thought. Every single puzzle in this game is a fight against the designers. Not a puzzle. I also can't do bad economies. This game your main way to make money is other trainers. And there's a limited amount of them. And if you happen to just be casual for the first time, and not realize you should be focused on a robbery team, or theft team, you can get mid game and you've soft locked your game because you need resources. Yeah, okay, sure I'll farm fruits. But that's just disrespectful to the players time. I'm being penalized for NOT metagaming and reading guides outside of the game on how to farm money. Yeah, hard pass. Developers kind of missed a large portion of why badly made games like Pokemon are still preferred over games like this.

The remaster is provided to the players who have the base game. This is how it's supposed to be done. Not like Yooka-Replaylee...
Coromon is better and cheaper than the Pokémon games I played on my Switch. The story was also great, and the puzzles and mini games added variety. This game deserves to be played.
8/10 y un bonus por hacerme sentir estratega sin dejar de disfrutar como un nene con jueguito nuevo -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- English - Inglés: Coromon is like going back to childhood… but with an adult brain and the urge to optimize everything. You start thinking “aww, a cute Pokémon-style game” and ten minutes later you’re already calculating stats, types, weather, and builds like the coach of a competitive team. Here, just attacking isn’t enough: if you get cocky, some random Coromon flips the fight and leaves you staring at the screen in silence. The pixel art is beautiful, the music fits perfectly, and the difficulty system is so fair that when you win, it feels like real pride—not luck. In short: Coromon is nostalgia done right, smart battles, and healthy addiction… until you say “one more fight” and suddenly the night is gone. 8/10, with a bonus for making me feel like a strategist while still enjoying it like a kid with a brand-new game.
Enjoyable Pokemon clone with some problems. If you want to get a general sense of the gameplay, it's Pokémon with more QOL features. Combat plays out the same, there are multiple stats, types, abilities, and evolutions, there are some out-of-combat interactions to solve puzzles, and it's also a pretty linear experience. It gives the player more freedom by allowing the reallocation of stat points, devolution, and the ability to enable and disable skills (moves, limited to 4 as well) at any time. The graphics are charming, and sprites have a continuous line, working really well together. Animation and sound design are also fine. The plot is generic and lackluster, clearly aimed at children, resulting in no situation or character being even a little bit memorable. Dialog is poor, and your character has a lot of his own interactions and dialog, preventing roleplaying. Battles also did not feel the best for me, but I can't point out exactly why. If you enjoy mindlessly playing games of this genre without much thinking, Coromon can fill that void.
I can't recommend this game enough for OG pokemon fans. I used to play the pokemon games on DS growing up and this game brings out that exact nostalgia. I love it so much and I genuinely haven't played a monster catcher game that envokes those same feelings.
Super recomendado.
Cool game and all but who tf placed that ragebait of an achievement of getting 500 points in flappy swurmy. which just has such stupid hitboxes
