Coromon is one of the best creator collectors I have played in a very long time. The creatures are refreshing and unique, the music is great and does not get annoying, and when you need to grind levels, it actually feels rewarding! You can also customize your experience so if you want an easier game with relaxed settings, you can do that. If you want a challenge and pump up the pain, you can do that too! There is also a neat promotion system in the game that rewards you for different in game tasks/achievements. What more can I say other than I love Coromon? I love Coromon!
Good art, and good fighting system. Bad puzzles, and very tedious mandatory minigames.

Specific issues:

There is a possible softlock in Donar Island's Power Tower. It has to do with the very first "C" switch on floor 1 not allowing you to leave.
The timing based minigames should not be mandatory to progress the story. They are close to impossible if playing on x2 speed, and only annoying otherwise. The minigame about jumping a blurry blue bar 22 times felt unfair since there is no input buffering, thus plenty of times you press jump and the character won't jump.
Cute and charming and getting updates 4 years after release is an incredible thing you do not see very often at all in games. It makes me excited to comeback and play it again even after my first playthrough
Major design flaws in the evolution system in this game. For some reason the devs decided that evolving your mons should make them weaker, so if you took the time to look for a certain strong trait on a mon, if you evolve him you lose it. The power/progression system is flawed if that's how you have to keep lower tiered evolutions relevant to players.
It's basically a GBA pokemon game with some modern QoL features. Stuff like customized avatars, save anywhere, world map listing what coromon can be caught where, coromon skins, a logbook, achievements/milestones. It's done extremely well. Starts kind of slow, stick with it, picks up quickly after that. IDK ppl complaining about performance issues. My computer is a potato and it runs fine. I bought it for 3 of my friends on sale since they can't stand the newer pokemon games and they like it too. I bought this on sale. Must buy on sale if you like these games. At $20? Kind of steep. At <$5, yeah thats a go.
I really wish Pokemon was available on PC. It's not, so I downloaded this and had fun. I have played the game twice. The Coromon variants have a lot of diversity and are well designed. Story was largely generic but I was pleasantly surprised at how well the writers broke the monotony of the hero saves world trope by introducing minigames. I really liked the desert and ice regions. The battle theme is as good as the Pokemon battle theme. Rating - 6.4/10
I thought this game would be fine to play with my hand disability. I was enjoying it. Then I got to the light sensei. It is physically impossible for me to progress.
