At the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, an explosion rocked a clandestine laboratory in Chernokamensk. A massive energy release transformed the city into an exclusion zone, periodically illuminated by an eerie glow. The government sealed off the region from the outside world with an imposing wall.
The true nature of the zone and its real happenings remain shrouded in mystery. The leak of secret documents, in which one word - 'convergence' was often repeated, did not clarify the situation either.
However, whispers of untold treasures and enigmatic artifacts traverse the land, attracting people from all corners of the country to Chernokamensk. Some delve into the anomalous territory as part of special volunteer units, while others trespass illegally.
You will assume the role of an artifact hunter, a member of a specialized squad granted access to the restricted area. The zone is in constant flux, and to unveil its secrets, you must confront bandits, wild animals, and enigmatic demons that emerge to hunt under the veil of night.

I enjoy this game a lot I got this game after the 0.8 update and how little its come from then is still pretty large, a lot of the mechanics I enjoy and the ability to execute surrendering bandits. Issues I've noticed is the dog ai breaks in certain areas in UGF if I make him sit and the head hitting the door (which should be fixed I haven't played the 0.9.1.1 update yet). Cant wait for new updates and stuff to run around with.
ist ein sehr gutes spiel
Много интересных механик...
I love this game, it reminds me of STALKER except in VR, I am following this project with anticipation of future content and maybe some brush ups on the graphics otherwise the game is completely playable and enjoyable. The night maps and underground maps are absolutely terrifying be sure to come prepared. A CO-OP mode would be peak for the game even if its two player CO-OP only.
good vr game
игра крутая много всего, карты красиво сделаны разнообразные но не хватает разнообразия врагов
Convrgence is a pretty solid and atmospheric VR game. The first thing that catches your eye is how genuinely comfortable it is to use the inventory and enjoy all the perks of VR mechanics. The Short Answer: Is It Worth Buying? Yes, but catch it on a 10–20% sale. Playtime: Around 20–25 hours Graphics: 5/10 I’d say it’s standard. However, in some places, I really wished for better graphics instead of the fog. It would be much better if the locations loaded even in low quality, rather than just having fog where you can’t see a damn thing. Mobs: 4/10 Well, they are kind of dumb and unoriginal—but it is what it is. Let's wait for updates and see what happens. The most annoying ones are the snipers, especially when two of them aim at you at the same time. Other than that, there are humans, beasts, mutants (bloodsuckers), and a big variant of the latter. Locations: 6/10 The locations were a bit disappointing. The first 10 hours are interesting, but after that, it becomes a repetitive grind through the same areas. I really wished that optional sub-locations (like going down into a basement) were more frequent and diverse—both in terms of room layouts and finding some secret goodies inside them. Guns: 4/10 There are too few guns, especially among the bandits. Almost all of them carry a Mosin, a PPSh, or a sawed-off shotgun, and that's it. It’s pretty sad. I get that they need to control the loot drop rates so the economy doesn't collapse, but it's still a bummer. On the bright side, the weapon upgrades are quite nice and well-made. As for the cons: it's not always clear which attachment fits where until you open your PDA. Interface: 5/10 It’s simultaneously convenient and not. When it comes to VR-specific features, everything is good, though I missed having customization options for pockets and pouches. Buying stuff is also perfectly fine: you pick it up, you buy it. Selling is easy too: just dump it on the trader. However, from a gameplay perspective, it’s a big shame there’s no map. Even a hand-drawn one that the player uncovers themselves—without showing the player's exact position, where you could draw on a tablet with a pencil—would be great. Upgrades and Progression: 3/10 It's tied to quests that are incredibly tedious ("soul-crushing"). Finding 6 wallets or relays, and so on. If they at least unlocked in batches all at once, it would be better. But as it is, you might sell what you need early on and then have to run around looking for it all over again. Quests: 2/10 Personally, I didn't like a single quest except for retrieving a case and reaching a specific spot. The rest is just pure tedious grind. Side quests are practically non-existent (barely any content there). Mechanics: 7/10 Convenient and simple. The extraction system is straightforward and smooth: you reach the exit, you leave, making sessions quite fast. The inventory and weapons are pleasant to use. The mechanics for opening some doors are also cool. The only thing missing was a tutorial for opening combination locks—I thought the code would be written somewhere and I had to shine a light on it or something, but turns out you just had to lockpick it by listening to the clicks. Story: 2/10 There basically isn't one. Music: 5/10 Unobtrusive and simple. Atmosphere: 8/10 Very atmospheric. Thanks to the audio and lighting, you really start to believe you are right there. Overall Score: 71/100
One of the BEST S.T.A.L.K.E.R-like games for VR users! Runs phenomenally on my PSVR2.
