nearly won my first run then got curb stomped on all the ones after it. 10/10 would convoy again. wait for a sale though it goes down to like 2 dollars.

Mad Max meets FTL

Fits the price point. Great strategy game to play, fun mechanics, this and FTL fit well together.

Game isn't worth more than four or five bucks tops. grab it on sale.

I've had this game for a long time now and just realized that I never wrote a review. This is one that sits in my library for months at a time and I kind of forget about it, but then I'll play it once and find myself replaying it over and over for a week or more. Then I'll set it aside for a while and rediscover it and wonder why I don't play it more. If you were to make a top-down game based on the truck chase scene at the end of Mad Max 2: The Roadwarrior in the style of a 1990s classic, it would be this. Pretty simple to learn, can get chaotic with lots of stuff happening all at once. I find it to be lots of fun, but just getting to the final boss is pretty hard. Defeating the final boss? I've only done it once. I'm a big fan of the Mad Max movies so this was right up my alley. I'm also a fan of the late 1980s synth style of music this has. If this looks remotely interesting to you I would recommend watching some YouTube reviews and maybe pick this up, especially if it's on sale.

Sorry, I can't recommend Convoy. It is just quite boring. Maybe I'll change my review if I give it another chance but so far not great. Like an RTS but very slow to control and a very small map. You start with a few units that do basically no damage and you spend all your found money on Fuel. The enemies out number you and have units that are better than yours.
