Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 17.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 48.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great gameplay. Story is somewhat vague but great nonetheless.
Becomes slightly repetitive in the back half with some nasty difficulty spikes but I can't deny, this game is amazing. Top notch presentation, amazing gameplay and story, genuinely creepy vibes but darkly funny at points, Remedy is second to none and I can't wait for the sequel!
ну если угашеным играть даже норм
One of the best gameplay and graphically good looking game. With interesting story from Remedy and as their usual strategy the story ends in a cliff hanger XD. Definitely worth the play before the control resonant drops. Can't wait to play as Dylan. Definitely Recommended!!!
//作为一款类scp题材的大作,我个人是十分感兴趣的,而游戏中的战斗过程也比较爽快,第三人称射击的手感做的相当不错。只不过优点仅次于此,游戏中的缺点几乎是让我作为一个正常的玩家难以忍受的。 -从逼仄的场景和从没变过的局长抽烟动画就能看出这游戏预算有多有限,但以这个来衡量游戏的优劣无疑是肤浅的。真正的问题在于灾难的地图设计以及稀疏的游戏引导,再配合上莫名其妙的保存机制,哪怕是一名常玩各类游戏的玩家也会因此抓狂。 -在游戏的地图中,你时常会因为缺乏引导以及高度相似的布局而感到困惑,我到底该往哪里走?剧情是线性的,但每个剧情节点都要迫使玩家重新回到混乱的旧地图去找路,而传送点的位置似乎从没有为玩家着想过。最根本的问题在于,地图似乎是独立于游戏的一个要素,几乎没有为剧情线路以及战斗场景做足够的优化,除了零散的爆炸罐外,我从没感觉到那些战斗的场景到底和别的场景有什么不同 -我是一个并不厌恶往游戏里硬塞解谜环节的玩家,但这款游戏里的解谜提示真是莫名其妙,放进场景贴图里,但却不确保贴图是清晰的,还完全不引导玩家去找。引导的缺乏不仅体现在地图上,还体现在剧情主线支线以及玩游戏的所有环节,哪怕这是为了题材氛围去做的,玩家的体验也是灾难的 -最令人抓狂的还是游戏中的保存机制,死亡后一定要从固定的检查点重新开始,但这检查点永远在莫名其妙远离死亡点的位置。战斗明明很轻松,但死亡机制却要搞得和魂游一样,死后重新回去怪不刷新路却要重新走,走这一段路的目的是什么?很多时候你去到一个地方获得新能力,往回走就要打怪,怪把你打死了然后你回到很久之前的检查点,然后呢?玩家本能的觉得往回走应该有新的路,但这种本能却被强行切断了,我要回去把那个不知道有没有意义的怪群打了还是重新找路?不仅如此,每次闯过一堆怪到最后打架的时候,我都在想,奶奶的要是被打死我得走多远回来啊?这种体验简直是在破坏自己制作的游戏本身
Great atmosphere, great soundtrack. Looking forward to Control 2!
Moved to Oldest House 1993. Origin is as of yet unknown. OoP allows parautilitarians to teleport while not observed. - OoP 173
Control is the closest we'll ever get to a big budget SCP game, and it (mostly) slaps.
Gameplay
To be perfectly honest, Controls base gameplay mechanics isn't anything crazy. From a third person perspective, you have an infinite ammo gun and a bunch of supernatural powers (such as levitating and being able to throw ♥♥♥♥ at enemies, the latter of which is by far the most useful power and its not even close) which you use in combat, both of which can be upgraded with crafting materials, skill points and mods (passive buffs you can apply to yourself and the gun). Said gun, the Service Weapon, has six forms, though you can only have two equipped at a time to swap between (though there's no actual penalty for swapping them out for another via the loadout menu, so really there should have been a weapon wheel or something), and enemy variety is lacking imo, tending to lean on bullet sponges towards the end (especially in the expansions). This is not to say Controls combat is terrible, but I feel that by the end of it combat encounters devolve into "how do I not get three tapped by everything?" Where the gameplay shines, imo, is in the quest design. There's no compass or waypoint on HUD for you to follow, only a map that obscures a bunch of your vision when used. And even when you get somewhere, you still need to find whatever it wants you to find yourself, which can take a bit as the only indicator will be interaction prompts when you get very close to it. A few quests also include puzzles, and though they were certainly exacberated by my idiocy are still headscratchers and I may or may have looked up hints to solve one in the main story. The quests I don't like however are the Bureau Alerts, random timed missions that can and will start at any moment, including when its literally impossible to go to them (such as a pivotal story moment) and some are hell (there's one where you have to defend NPCs but the NPCs have no sense of self-preservation, choosing to actively fight enemies instead, which in the one time I did this type of Alert got them killed almost immediately).
Story
Controls story is cool, featuring less so on grand spectacle or anything like that and more "what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on", with some great moments towards the end and the DLCs particularly. You play as Jesse, who's gone over to the Oldest House, HQ of the Federal Bureau of Control (basically the SCP universes Unusual Incidents Unit if they locked the ♥♥♥♥ in) to find her brother Dylan. Unfortunately the House is under siege by extradimensional creatures, and Jesse becomes the Director of this secretive government agency she had never worked for until now, because an extradimensional pyramid that can't speak coherently said so. At least the healthcare plan's good!
Graphics
Game defaulted to medium but I primarily played on low. For the most part it runs, though there are a few rough spots. I did have to turn off Steam overlay however, as it was destroying my performance. Visually it looks pretty good for the most part, though I had issues with textures loading in (apparently this is a common issue since those with stronger PCs than me suffer from this too) as well as reflections (though that's more my fault because I was using solely screen space reflections). Areas have a bunch of destructability to them and its neat to see the aftermath of a big fight.
Verdict
Overall I hereby declare Control: Ultimate Edition as
REALLY GOOD BUT THE STORY KINDA CARRIES
< The User/Writer/Player approves/recommends the video game/simulation >
