About
Deep in an abandonned bidirectional research facility, Red sends a distress call. Everybody has died. Device spheres are still active and the sentinels also. You have to find a MindGun. Save Red.
You interact with core elements by rotating them. The MindGun has been designed to handle the specific needs of the complex. Manage threats and devices by mastering this tool. Shoot, rotate, repulse.
Red thought he was alone: it is not the case anymore. Sneak is often the best first move before encountering situations that will be increasingly more difficult.
The whole area has been abandonned since obscure events: be aware of your surroundings.
People were about to discover leaks in multiple systems, including the propagation of dissonance. May the body's recollections say the origins of the malaise.
The place is a maze of steel and concrete. Spatial awarness will save you time and effort in both threats encounters and puzzle progress.
You don't know why you're here and it doesn't matter:
what's important is for Red to remember why you came.

Played the demo and wishlisted for its atmosphere, and I'm happy to say I really enjoyed the full game! First few deaths far away from a save might feel defeating, but Atlas Hands does a great job of slowly building your familiarity with the mechanics and the map before adding more challenge. It's a difficult game, and at times I was worried I was doing something wrong/missed something because of it, but it was worth it. A lot to figure out on you own in this one, and it's better for it. Solid A on the environmental design and music, too. If I had to describe it to someone: Metroid Prime + companion cubes from Portal (or, Metroid Prime, but instead of turning into a sphere, you use a gravity gun on spheres). Oh, and if you think you couldn't get jumpscared by a ball rolling on the ground, you might change your mind after this one.
Interestin' concept for a game. The Mindgun is our main weapon to move spheres around to navigate the environment. I like the atmosphere and graphic style but I didnt get too far. This is a puzzle game at heart and those are not my forte lol. Still I'll give it a thumb up as it doesn't break the bank. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/Yw8SGpM2Ud4
Currently it's a no from me movement is absolutely broken right now. If they can fix that the game would be better. I made it to getting the gun but all passage ways are blocked. The game does run good on Steam Deck except for movement with lossless X2 you can hit 90+ fps. If they fix the movement issues I will change this to a recommended game if I ever figure out how to progress from my position in the game. Right now it's a 6/10. I'm not refunding it just in case it gets fixed. Update found a work around I can now recommend the game for now I'm sticking with a 6/10 score. If you are playing on the deck it's a must to change the joystick movement that is what is broken. Switch it to Dpad WASD movement and it works as intended.
A mix of survival horror and puzzle game, with a certain level of difficulty that keeps you awake, but not excessive. The gameplay is original, with puzzles based on the game's physics and rotating spheres. The atmosphere is truly incredible for what's the studio's first game! The scenery and sound effects are truly well-crafted and allow for a great immersion. The game is a bit oppressive with its survival horror elements, but even for me, who's not a fan of the genre, it was very well-balanced. Expect between 7 and a little over 10 hours to complete, depending on your ability to solve the puzzles, survive, and find your way. Can't wait to see more!! Highly recommend!
I really couldn't get into this. Having to constantly drag a limited number of orbs back and forth to power different devices is tedious rather than fun. The game also does nothing to make up for this major flaw. There are other dark/atmospheric shooters out there that play much better than Atlas Hands.
:D Anglais / English : I liked the dark and sometimes frightening atmosphere. The game requires some thought to solve the puzzles and progress, which is definitely satisfying. Even though shooter games aren't my thing, the control you have over the enemies helps you stall. You're immersed in the game without really knowing who you are or why you are there, and the further you progress, the more you learn. Mysteries, a captivating atmosphere, puzzles, and originality, I definitely recommend it. :D
