Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 17.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 48.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"They are drawn to the mystery. Obsessed. You set it up, they put it together. Their interpretation. And there's only one, because you give them no choice. And they believe it, because it's theirs now." -Alan Wake Control has endeared me to its unconventional design for 7 years - so much so that I have ritualistically beaten it on Xbox, then on Playstation and have scoured its depths a fifth time on PC. But what is it that makes Control such a timeless story for me, one worth returning to repeatedly? Control is a third-person supernatural thriller action game, drawing much of its stylistic inspiration from the likes of Carter's "The X-Files" and the SCP Foundation with a deeply intense narrative framing that harkens to Mark Frost & David Lynch's Twin Peaks franchise (or Danielewski's "House of Leaves" for all my fellow book nerds.) What separates this game from all the others is its excellently granular approach to worldbuilding. Redactions, warping environments, whiteboards and distant paranormal whispers; every square inch of Control is drenched in an atmosphere that screams, quite figuratively and literally, to be dissected and understood. The game's setting, The Oldest House, is a clever thematic representation of the sprawling amount of complex possibilities that Control's core mystery centers around. Where did your brother go? Walk in a janitor's assistant, come out the Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, a secretive government agency with the primary objective of using many fields of science, both traditional and new, to explain, contain, and manipulate paranormal forces. Let me pose a simple question: What do you get when you cross western bureaucratic office spaces with spiteful lovecraftian entities & the best physics engine in ALL of gaming? You get a high-art action game called Control, one that I think everybody who appreciates single-player narrative experiences should play at least once. Because talking about Control, theorizing late nights with fellow Remedy-verse nerds and scrolling through dozens of pages on forums just to appreciate everyone's interpretations, is just as fun as playing the game itself. The story is that much more powerful because you are a part of it; you are in Control. You've always been the new you.

Control is many things I love and one thing that I do not. It is a third person action game with exploration and character upgrades. It is based on and has references to the SCP Foundation. It is very good looking and I can make it run at a consistent 30fps on my Steam Deck. And now to hop on the complain train for a moment: I did have to go into this game's settings on said Steam Deck and switch it manually from DX12 to DX11 in order to stop a pretty well-known issue with the game's engine, and while this was an easy fix, I am still going to gripe about how optimization fell by the wayside a long time ago. Please, developers, please spend more time optimizing your games, pretty please with a heaping scoop of your favorite ice cream and a maraschino cherry on top.

沉浸度较高,剧情设计不错,选材也比较让我眼前一亮,可以说得上是一部很能打的神作了
i find it incredibly hard to describe this game but holy crap i liked it. 'Control Resonant' will be the first game i've actually preordered and i dont even care it's just digital. i want it. i need it. i can't wait for sep24 "the word to describe this is redacted" -the hiss
Competent, if largely standard fare, gun mechanics meet one of the most interesting video game worlds ever created and with storytelling to match.
Great story and decent combat.
Ta valendo super a pena!
I recommend this game. Now that that is out of the way. This was so much fun, especially as you got to a place where you unlocked some amazing mods for your character and became a wrecking ball. It was still challenging but you feel like the hero you are meant to be by the end.
