Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 17.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 48.57/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Graphically, the game is average—bordering on poor—because everything looks blurry during gameplay, from the text on doors and walls to the character faces. The dialogue is very poor, and the gameplay is neither good nor bad. I didn't understand the story even after six hours of play, but there was a discount—I think it cost two and a half dollars—so I don't feel like I lost much on such a small amount.
Very good game with an outstanding and distinctive story. The world design also is standing out to a point that the building where the story takes place is a character in its own right. Gunplay and telekinesis powers are top tier and well served by a good enemy Ai. On the bad side, character models are not the best, especially the protagonist who is very ugly in game. Looking at her, I always fear her lower jaw would come off her face at any moment. Weird. Another flaw is when the protagonist talks to a character, the player will "hear" her thoughts on the matter discussed. It happens with a weird close-up on her eyes and most of the time, these sentiments are absolutely uninteresting. That just doesn't work. Also keep in mind that Control is a game where player is asked to read a lot. It's a S.C.P game (horror subgenre which consists of studying paranormal, supernatural, and other mysterious phenomena through litterature, while also keeping their existence hidden from society -wikipedia-). One can of course play without reading anything but they will miss so much that it wouldn't make any sense.

One of the only games where ray tracing makes a difference, it's also a good game

Map is too hard to figure out and some text is hard to read in game and need some fixing as it breaks all the immersion
