A little short for my taste, but it is an interesting game. I just feel they focused too much on sending you on a wild goose chase to have you guessing, and ignoring vital points and leaving too many loose ends. For example - when would a policeman ignore being assaulted and robbed? When would a policeman ignore a man pushing another man to do self-harm? Also, every evidence was supposedly tested so why talking about testing for DNA on evidence they have already had for quite a while? I also did not like how a the policeman missed such a point at the end, that eventually lead to the culprit. Overall it was fairly enjoyable though.
Loved it! I already love Tim Follin music, so when I found out he directed and produced this game I was all in. This was a really fun murder mystery game, awesome story, great characters, and for a small budget, he knocked it out of the park. Make more like this and I will play them!

Fun little game. I personally enjoy these types of games. Reminds me of the 90's. I would definitely play others that come out.
Jenks is so cute, oh my WORD.
So... I have contradictory feelings about Contradiction (haha, get it?). Honestly, i *did* like the game. It's a bit old now (released in 2015) but I still liked the acting, the characters, it was funny and a bit silly/kitsch, but i personally loved it all the way. The only problem I have is the ending.. If you play the game, you'll see what the investigation will focus on, but I find terrible the connection between what you search and learn... and how things get wrapped up. I can't say it's a bad game or a bad ending, because it really isn't, but there *is* a problem with what you do and how it ends. I wish I could say more but can't spoil future players. Honestly, try it for the experience, it's funny sometimes, and the investigation isn't much hard (had to look up for answers a couple of times though). I suppose Contradiction 2 was meant to happen but it's been so long (and the devs' biggest launch, At Dead of Night, happened since) I guess it's unlikely to be real now. I'd love it someday though.
Had a gaming night with my significant other. We had so much fun playing this murder mystery. Though the game was made on a tiny budget I have to say that the gameplay and the various cutscenes felt of very high quality. You could really tell that the developers put much thought into this game. I really recommend this game for gaming nights w friends and/or family.
actual peak cinema im not even kidding
I fully recommend this game. This is the first game of this type that I've played in my nearly 40 years, and it was a lot of fun to piece together the story. The gameplay can get a little repetitive because you have to backtrack between characters to ask about clues, but it's not too bad. This is also the last on-screen appearance of the late, great actor Paul Darrow. He's an immense talent, and this was filmed right before his health decline. His personality seethes from the screen in every appearance. The game plays great on the Steam Deck with TLP set to 9W
Even if it didn't have a good mystery behind it, the characters and acting would make it worthwhile. But it also has a pretty interesting mystery with plenty of twists and turns!
Loved this game! I want to play more!!
