About
Concrete Visions is a first-person psychological thriller video game with survival horror, FPS and beat’em up elements. There are two main components to the gameplay - melee / lite arms combat and environmental exploration as you strive to survive the night.
Heavily influenced by games such as Condemned: Criminal Origins, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy & Anatomy
The game's combat is built primarily around melee with firearms available.
The goal with Concrete Visions is to combine a disturbing photo sourced lo-fi atmosphere with nightmarish aesthetics in order to create a replayable gameplay experience for horror and retro FPS fans
The town of Stonebrook is desolate and all of the residents have disappeared.
All that remains are the junkies, the dregs, & the scum, and every one of them is out for blood.
Malone is a cult-like leader for these cretins, and you are certain he is responsible for the hordes of bastards on your tail.
Fight your way through these cold streets and wild overgrowth on a quest for answers, safety, and freedom.
It’s time to put fist to concrete.

Fun!
A unique fun quick FPS/brawler. Very eerie and atmospheric with horroresque elements. Movement is tight and every weapon has its use. Graphics are photo scanned digitized with fluid movement, very much reminded me of Sharpshooter 3D! Play this one, the price is right ^^
good short game
The most superb demonstration of England
Really short and simplistic but well done. Visuals can be rough but that's part of it's charm, making it feel like a creative vision instead of a technical limitation or an attempt to hide the stitching that holds the sack together. It's length is less than an hour but it feels like the perfect length for such a simple game. If it was longer it would overstay it's welcome and get tiring. For me it managed to capture that essence of suburban dystopia, similar in a way to Blood in it's city levels where everything has gone down hill on a hog cart and Postal where everything is filtered through the mind of a mentally unstable man with traumatic past and a self inflicted cranial bullet injury. Over all i liked it and am looking forward to the next game Reverend.
classic doom styled gameplay with pixelated graphics short but fair priced difficulty may varies depending on your playstyles 6/10
i am a friend of DOSMan Games. but i will give an honest review of this game it is bad. art is inconsistent with no real direction, level design is super boring. DOSMan's other EFPSE games are well worth the couple bucks they cost, but this one just isn't i say this out of love. i say this knowing that my own hands and gun sprite assets are used in this game ( https://opengameart.org/content/fps-weapon-sprites ) but the art direction is super-inconsistent. different hands are present in some of the weapons (bottle, lead pipe) and it just comes off as a game that should've just been a free game on itch.io to get feedback for what you should do with future games. and DOSMan did take what feedback he got and his other newer games on steam are much much much better. this just comes off as a truly bad first attempt, and does not belong on steam as a paid game. honest and blunt review, not a hater here.
If you are in for a simple ride you will be pleasantly surprised. The game has a nice retro aesthetic, the digitized assets give it that 90s FMV vibe. The levels are more open ended than most boomer shooters and the melee focus is a nice touch.
At first... I was like wtf is this?! Then I was like, YES. Good: Wild world, that just feels creepy Bad: There are not enough missions Verdict, I have purchase cups of coffee that were worse than this game, so this definitely is more bang for your buck!
"Concrete Visions" is a short and grainy boomer-shooter with emphasis on style and atmoshere. The pixelated "photo"-sprites are quite nice, the urban-violence-horror is solid, the (short list) of weapons have impact. The sound and voice lines are passable in my opinion, but nothing breathtaking. Sadly there is not much enemy variety, you can kite them with not much trouble and only one (with the final boss two) enemies have ranged attacks (but when you get hit, it hurts) It takes around 1/1,5 hours to complete and is a solid experience, but nothing groundbreaking. The final level is suppressive in tone, I admit. Solid for a short FPS-experience!
