[h1] Ein Teddybär hat´s immer schwer. [/h1] Oh mein Gott!! Der Weihnachtsmann war unachtsam und hat ein Geschenk unterwegs verloren und zwar einen süßen Teddybären. Da sowas gar nicht geht, macht sich der Teddy auf den Weg, das Kind zu welchem er gehören soll, alleine aufzusuchen. Das Spiel ist eine art simples Jump´n´Run mit Niedlichkeitsfaktor hoch zehn. In jedem der Kapitel, es sind 4 an der Zahl, gilt es eine Aufgabe zu lösen. Das bedeutet immer einen bestimmten Gegenstand zu suchen, den der Auftragsgeber verlangt. Diese sind nicht immer sofort zu sehen, aber in der Regel ohne Probleme mit etwas Rumgehüpfe zu bekommen. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3121645082 Unterwegs gilt es auch 15 Geschenke einzusammeln, aber das ist optional und nur für die Errungenschaften nötig. Das Ganze ist in eine niedliche und teils traurige Geschichte verpackt und entfaltet nur an Weihnachten seine Wirkung, den Rest des Jahres wird es nicht so prickelnd sein. Das Spiel ist auch relativ schnell beendet. Ich habe für den ersten Durchlauf etwas unter einer Stunde gebraucht, bis die Geschichte des Teddys mit dem besonderen Herz zu Ende war. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3121645737 Für die, denen sowas wichtig ist: Es gibt im Spiel mehrere Errungenschaften, ich denke bis auf 2 sind alle beim ersten Durchlauf automatisch zu bekommen. Eine der Verpassbaren sind die schon erwähnten Geschenke, die eingesammelt werden müssen. Und dann gibt es noch eine Errungenschaft: „Schaffe das Spiel in unter 18 Minuten.“ Klingt nach Stress, ist es aber gar nicht. Nach dem ersten Durchlauf gibt es ein Neues Spiel+. Wenn man das startet, steht dem Teddy sofort ein Hund zu Verfügung, auf dem man reiten kann. Dieser kann besonders hoch springen, wodurch die meisten Hindernisse keine mehr sind. A very cute and wholesome game about the spirit of Christmas. Ideally suited for young children and the young at heart. You are Mr Teddy Bear who was created in Santa's factory and fell out of his sleigh. You are searching in the winter landscape for the child you are meant to love. Along your journey, you meet some characters who are in need and once you fulfil each quest, your heart fills with emotion and you colour the world around you. You learn about Hope, Grief, Joy, Anger and Comfort. This is a side scrolling platform game and quite a bit of the game is amongst the trees. The platforming is easy with some mildly more difficult bits. You also collect gifts along the way...15 of them. You can make snowballs to jump to a higher branch. On the second run through, a husky is your transport and this is when you can speed run the game. Graphics are simple, but colourful and cute. Soundtrack was suitably jaunty and upbeat. Controls were good on keyboard and I came across no bugs. There is a facility where you can stream on twitch and your viewers can throw snowballs at you and other interactions. A lot of fun was had by all! Will Mr Teddy find his child? Will the child want him? It is a bit like that with our friendships. Are we able to meet their expectations? Are we enough? Highly recommend for children. It is currently 50% off. 7.5/10

Oh boy, it’s definitely hard for me to really post a satisfying review for this one. Please don’t get me wrong, all in all the game is super cute, and I totally get what the devs went for (a kind of children/educational approach). But from a normal adult player’s view, hmm, the game is ultra short (less than an hour at first play-through with all collectables). It’s also very barebones at most points, not much to do, very few interactions, a bit of jumping here, a bit of gathering there, only a few screens for one quest. But nevertheless, yep, call me crazy (yeah, I know, I overused that term plentifully in the past), but somehow I appreciate the whole intentions of the creators. Graphics at least are hand-painted, no assets used, music is soothing, Does it hit all the marks, urg, probably not, but it still might be a great game for really small children (although the story ends, öhhm, a bit unexpected, but positive anyways), or at least funny for infantile persons like me who enjoy that stuff no matter what :P Oh, before I forget, don’t worry about the speedrun achievement, in New Game+ you’ll get a super fast jumping mount who can clear almost all areas in an instant, so it’s definitely easy to 100% this game achievement-wise. Long story short, if there’s still any interest, definitely get it on a deep sale, especially because of the short game length, and be sure what you’re getting into like I always say. That said, I got this game from a very special friend (wink wink) who understands me quite well, and my thanks go out to her this way. Love you, girl :)

The Heart of the Teddy Bear is a very cute game. The music is wonderful, the sounds are nice and the story is cute too. It is an excellent game for the Christmas season. I played through the game within 25 minutes, so I would recommend buying this game in the sale.

Truly adorable, easy little side scrolling platformer where your character is a cute bear. I say easy, because I am hopeless at platformers and I still managed to 100% the game... just took me a little longer. Loved the snowy Christmas theme and the animals you help along the way. The little ones would definitely love this game. Easy Achievements and Perfect game within everyone's reach.

a very good casual/adventure game. I recommend it. overall cute made. 5 short chapters. a couple of little puzzles. the price of this game is alright I got it in christmas sale for 0,89 cent it was like a gift.

I bought this, well because i like bears... Anyway i wasn't expecting much, and you shouldn't either. As many pointed already, this platformer is short, till about 25-30 minutes, you just move right and left (to go back for missions) and jump a bit, while collecting presents (watch out 1 is hidden in a tree). After you have finished the game, you get access to a dog which you can ride, to make you move a lot faster, and make it very easy to get the finish the game within 18 minutes achievement. But however, this is definitely not worth 6 euro, maybe 3 is even too expensive (1-2 euro would be fairer), but because it has a bear or that this would be a nice game especially for kids to play near christmas, i give it a 7/10.
