About

Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand introduces an all-new standalone wave defense experience, delivering thrilling, highly-replayable Company of Heroes gameplay. This standalone experience does not require you to own any previous Company of Heroes titles, making it easy for you to jump straight into the action and have fun, whether you’re a longtime fan or a new player.

Prepare to dig in, build layered defenses, and survive against escalating waves of enemy forces across 12 increasingly difficult rounds, including intimidating bosses and dynamic battlefield events unique to Final Stand.

Featuring a roguelite progression system, players construct a custom battlegroup from the ground up suited to their style of play. After each wave, choose between randomized units or abilities that persist for the duration of the run, ensuring that no two playthroughs feel the same.
Persistent upgrades like powerful perks and unique abilities will be unlocked between runs across faction-specific progression trees. These upgrades meaningfully change how each faction plays, encouraging experimentation, long-term mastery, and repeat play at higher levels.

Is this game a life changing event? Nope. I paid $21 for it. Do I think it's worth $21? Yup. Is it fun? Yup. Will I play it off and on throughout the next couple of years? Yup. Some additional maps with more variety would be greatly appreciated.

My main negative to mention here is that the price is too high for the overall content. So I'd suggest waiting for a sale or price drop. However my overall experience has been positive & playing single player runs has so far been enjoyable. The game is separate to the base game, and while plenty feel this is a mistake I personally feel it makes sense. It means you don't need to own COH3 to play it which has benefits, especially if you're not already a COH3 owner (and ultimately this has branched away into a separate experience anyway) I enjoy the defensive nature of the game, I've always enjoyed turtling in RTS games and typically in COH that wasn't a very interesting way to play (nor the AI smart enough), but in Final stand the AI push forward in ever greater numbers & launch surprise attacks from special events making you have to think about how you defend. All the same there are flaws here. The price as I've already mentioned just feels a bit too steep. The limitation to just 2 player co-op is a shame. Would have been great to see that pushed to 3 or 4 for very intense matches. There's a lack of matchmaking which I don't personally care about as I'd only play with friends anyway, but it's a negative all the same. I think the base line here is if you've read some reviews, seen the gameplay and it still sounds interesting or fun, then I think you'll enjoy the experience. If you're expecting a multiplayer focused experience, want matchmaking or lots of new content, then you'll be disappointed. In short, buy if you think you like wave based defence in COH, otherwise hold off.

У кого не работает одиночный режим: надо подождать 5-10 минут, потом становится доступен. ---------------------------------- Играть прикольно, также есть немалый потенциал для развития.
not enough variet per faction as a roguelite tbh
There is some technical issues like saving my perks does not always work and I have to select them again when I start the game the next day. That is maybe the biggest practical issue so far. Also probably the biggest single gameplay issue is that there is only 2 player co-op, what were Relic thinking??? Of course we need 3-4 player co-op in this game mode! Please make it happen Relic!!! And yes, it is a game mode rather than a separate game even though they want to advertise it and sell it like that. But is it fun? Yes it is! Even alone it is a lot of fun to play. And there is progression and entertaining random changes to each playthrough. I think there is no other games like the CoH series, so I am happy to spend the money to support the developers who are now independent and bringing this kind of tactical gameplay no one else provides for me for already... damn I'm so old... 20 years.
Last coh that tried anything even remotely as fun as this was the first and i applaud it. If this gets attention and care from developers over time, i won't have a reason to play vanilla coh3 again. If this gets mod support, 10/10
If You want to Support Relic get it, many people still don't seem to have realized that Relic no longer has a Publisher. If You doesn't like it, give it back and done. The Game Mode is fun but what I miss is the Modding Support and Coustom Maps.
Pretty fun...would recommend! Lots of replayability
