Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Colossal Cave is a classic, cozy 3D Adventure; slow down, explore a massive magical, labyrinthine cave system, all while solving clever, sprawling puzzles at your own pace. Auto-magic maps, limited inventory, all the fantastic creatures and a deep mystery at the heart of the experience.
You may hear its heart beating while approaching the volcano.

First-person POV with classic point-&-click controls: walk, look, interact, pick things up, and test your theories. Limited inventory requires clever management in its own right. A magical series of maps quietly track where you’ve been, marking where you’ve dropped items.
Simply focus on solving puzzles instead of wrestling with navigation.
This is not a frantic action game; no frenetic timers shouting at you, no combo meters to maintain—just you, your lamp, and a series of intertwined, sprawling, twisty corridors full of brainy, logic-driven challenges.
Take your time:
Try weird solutions. Trial and error can be your friend.
Double back to old rooms with new ideas and unlock potential new discoveries.
Follow that “what if I…?” inclination and see what the cave passes back.

The cave is quiet, but not without your footsteps.
You’ll bump into:
Mischievous dwarves with sharp daggers and sharper tempers.
A grumpy, red bridge guarding troll.
A noticeably absent giant. You see that?
Flickering hinkypunks and other odd cave-dwellers. A handsome pirate, perhaps?
Hidden treasures, strange artifacts, and places that feel just a little too magical to be natural.
Some encounters are charming, whilst others are just dangerous enough to keep you on your toes—but it all stays firmly in “casual mystical adventure,” not horror. Just fantasy with a slice of mystery.
That said, all good Adventures suggest one should save early, save often.
Colossal Cave 3D leans into that old-school adventure game atmosphere: colorful environments, shadowy silhouettes, bats, and a focus on exploring the world for clues rather than being led by the nose.
No lack of customization allows dialing the game to match your vibe with a variety of options, including comfort tweaks and settings. Snap turns, or nuke the narrator. It's all there. Play exactly how you like—curled up with a controller, a mouse, a headset, or a keyboard, slowly dawdling through the cave one cavern at a time.

Relaxed, point-&-click exploration in a massive cave
Limited inventory that makes item choices and puzzle routes matter
Handy auto-map that shows where you’ve been and where you dropped items
A cast of dwarves, elves, hinkypunks, and other quirky cave creatures
Dozens of logic-driven puzzles with satisfying “aha!” moments
Retro-cool adventure vibes inspired by classic games
Flexible customization options so you can make the adventure as meditative and away as you want
The mythic, mellow cavecation!
Venture down into Colossal Cave, follow your curiosity, and see how far your lamp — and your wits — can take you.

This really is a fun and great game and the creators have only improved it since it was first released... it has a lot of replay potential and some seriously challenging puzzles. Highly recommend this and suggest you all find all the secrets and aim for the high score.
If you love to explore you'll like this game. Great map and lots of fun places and interactions. You definitely will have to play more than once if you want a perfect score without looking up info but I've played it twice now and enjoyed it both times.
Excellent adventure on its own, and a great walk down memory lane.

I've completed this game twice so far and really like it. My two end game scores have been 333 and 335 out of a possible 350 points. But you don't have to get the full 350 points to win the game. I started playing PC games in 1987 and had always heard of the non-graphical text only games "Colossal Cave Adventure" and the other releases called "Adventure" and always thought of trying them. Thank you Roberta and Ken for creating a graphical 3D version of this game.
Colossal Cave keeps the soul of the original but makes it feel alive again. Great atmosphere, fun exploration, and puzzles that actually make you think. It doesn’t rush you or hold your hand. Just pure adventure and discovery! If you like exploration, old-school adventure vibes, gaming history, or all of the above, this is an easy recommendation!
Great game. It was nice to play a 3D graphic version of the original cave adventure. Nice job. :)
I originally played Colossal Cave on the Xbox Series X and logged about 8 hours playing it. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Roberta and the team did a great job of reimagining the old text adventure to give it a new lease of life with bright and colourful locations. It's the first time in a long time that I had to get out the pen and paper to map out the mazes, as well as the item and treasure locations. Something that is necessary to avoid getting lost in the cave, and to ensure you find the optimal path to maximise your score. I recommend you give Colossal Cave a go. It's a great challenge for old and new adventurers alike as you explore and solve many puzzles throughout the cave.
