It's kinda ok, looks good and all that but it's also long dead and abandoned :(
It's a basic roguelike. That's it. All the elements that should be there, are there. Turn-based combat, randomly generated dungeons, random loot, character progression, traps, multiple classes to choose from. But while games like ADOM or Nethack are more than a sum of it's parts, this one isn't. It lacks certain polish. I can't really put a finger on it, but something just seems off. And from what I can see in other reviews this game has been abandoned, so it's not like it will get that "something" that will keep you playing. There are so many better games in this genre that I can't really recommend it.
The game had alot of potential and I would of suggested it, if not for the the glaring problem that the developer ditched the game, So honestly, don't bother buying, if the developer has stuck with the game it would of been great, but unfortunatly, all this game will be now is a good idea, that was ditched.
About as finished as Trump's border wall...
Abandoned
Buggy abandonware that shouldn't still be listed for sale.
This is an abandoned early access retro pixel 2D roguelike dungeon crawler. Typical classical RPG stats, equipment, classes and gear, this is a tried and true recipe for success. It's easy to see what this collapsed. Ugly retro pixel graphics are tired and done, people are over them. It's time for "indy" devs to start putting some effort into artwork and graphic design and assets in their games. The developers walked away understandably. Also, while Rogue was clever, it's important that developers learn that procgen is not content. Of course, writing a decent game story and balancing the gameplay and progression from end to end in any RPG is difficult, so we can see why lazy devs abandon the idea of designing content when they can slap a "roguelike" label on their game and hope for some nostalgia bucks from undiscerning millennials.
Game hasn't been updated in over 4 years. It is disgusting how blatant of a cash grab it is. This game is very simplistic, and repetitive after 4 levels that are identical you get boss then rinse repeat forever. so there is about 30-40 minutes of original content, than you are put into a infinite loop of 4 levels 1 boss, 4, 1, 4, 1.. its gets infinitely harder honestly this feels like the work of a college student that gave up a couple months after release.
Good rogue-like game, but unfinished.
Прошло 4 года, до сих пор ранний доступ, на игру забили, пустая трата денег.
