Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. The game introduces new game play elements to realize the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city whilst expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building experience.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

excelente desafio, una pena que no sea multijugador
best city builder game of its time. the game's okay vanilla, excellent with the huge library of free steam workshop mods and assets, and outstanding with the couple DLCs i'd consider essential to the game. had a city of abt 400k w/ 500+ steam workshop assets on an older build from 2017 that ran really well even into 2026. great game if you love customization- you can tinker with everything in this game. just be warned that you may need to troubleshoot as much as you customize... game breaks every now and then when paradox updates it, but it eventually fixes itself through troubleshoot or just waiting for a patch. also, the traffic AI is kinda stupid. they use just one lane on a 6 lane highway and will cut across those same 6 lanes to exit. time will only tell if i can say the same good things for c:s2, but at the time of writring this, it has a long way to go. despite the traffic AI issues and occasional crashes, c:s1 is my favourite game of all time, and has really helped me explore my passion for transporation engineering and urban planning (: would recommend buying in 2026. especially during a sale. base game + DLCs for mass transit, industries, parklife, after dark, and snowfall are what i'd recommend

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 38.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolutely terrific game. It is kept alive by mod/asset creators and is in my opinion a much better game compared to cs2.
