Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
My friend Danny was absolutely obsessed with this game when we were in highschool. Always saying,"Play Chrono Trigger! It will change your life, dude!" And I was like "oh please." So far I am really enjoying this game, despite the bug where it won't let me rename any of my party members. I love the beautiful pixel art, I love the story so far, which is really well done. It's kind of easy to get lost at first but I am figuring it out on my own, the old school way 😏. I'll update this after I complete the game but I love it so far! Starting to see what all the hype is about. I'm only 30ish years late!
It’s my first time playing this game, and I’m loving it. Chrono Trigger is overflowing with charm and personality, and I quickly understood why it’s considered a true classic. Unfortunately, this port is riddled with bugs. Shops constantly show 0 G no matter how much money I have, the game sometimes refuses to start, loading occasionally breaks, and some sounds are out of sync. I keep having to google issues, only to realize, “yeah, that’s just a port problem.” Because of that, I can’t really recommend this version of the game. If possible, play it on the Super Nintendo or another platform instead.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolute cinema
First off let me say this is my favorite SNES game . this game is amazing and i love playing it. i will say my main gripe is that the extra cutscenes that where brought over from the PS1 version don't play at all which is frustrating but not the end of the world imo. granted it does crash a lil which is an easy fix thru the nividia control panel which i found if u set the max frame rate down to 60 fps the power management to prefer maximum performance and vertical sync to fast it deff runs alot better and crashes a lot less yeah these are things that should of been fixed when brought to steam considering how old this game is. I deff recomend this game if you enjoy RPGs especially retro RPGS
Chrono you stupid
A classic for a reason!
Juego de 1995 en 2026. Simplemente encantador, al principio cuesta adaptarse un poco a los controles pero nada grave. Recomiendo usar un mando de play o xbox, en teclado es una pesadilla
