This was a really fun game to play! The mini games are really creative and there's a huge variety of them to enjoy. The HOPs are all beautiful and fun to play. The story is fantastic - the classic Christmas Carol with Scrooge - and ties together well with what you do throughout the game. The bonus game is a lot of fun too! I highly recommend this one. :)

Definitely the worst game of the bunch. Many frustrating minigames that I ended up skipping.

Nice Christmas game for both adults and children

This HOG is a retelling of the classic A Christmas Carol. This time, you have to help Scrooge fix his past mistakes in order to save his future. If you want a HOG full of Christmas vibes, this is a pretty good match. Cozy Christmas scenes, a holly jolly soundtrack (that's a bit repetitive), and a classic Christmas tale. The puzzles are fine; none of them are too hard, yet they're not stupidly easy. The HOG pictures are fine too - nothing amazing, but again not super easy. I actually like this game a lot, but it loses points because of a game-ending glitch. In the final chapter, I didn't grab a tool I needed in time and couldn't move forward. Bah Humbug.

Unfortunately the Game Stalls at Tim's Amulet. Multiple attempts to move the pieces, have them in the correct place but game will not recognise. Logout out and back in numerous times and no change. Will move on to next game.

I played this last year (2023) and really enjoyed it! It was my first game of this type and I loved the cheesy art and the puzzles and hidden objects. I remembering needing a hint every now and then, regarding what to do next or rarely also at a puzzle. Idk if it was just because it was my first Christmas Stories game (I do like puzzle games in general) but I found this more challenging than "Enchanted Express". In a good way. "A Christmas Carol", albeit older, seems to be longer and have more variety in its puzzles. Overall more enjoyable. I wonder how it compares to more of the Christmas Stories series, I will definitely try another one. P.S.: the 3D cats of the bonus quest are weirdly creepy lol and kinda ugly to be honest, but it's still fun for the puzzles.

I love playing these puzzle games from my childhood. They aren't particularly modern and don't have the best gameplay and graphics. But for me they are nostalgic and help me to feel festive. If you like point and click puzzle games then these games may be for you!

It is very entertaining and great for when you just need to unwind from a stressful day.

[h2] A Fun Adaptation of Dickens's Classic Story [/h2] [i] A Christmas Carol [/i] has always been one of my all-time favorite stories, and I’ve seen several different takes on it, all of which I enjoy. So, noticing that the next game in the [i] Christmas Stories [/i] series is inspired/based on said story, I had to check it out. Honestly, what a fun adaptation it is! In [i]Christmas Stories: A Christmas Carol[/i], we step into the shoes of Ebenezer Scrooge’s niece, who has been asked for help by Scrooge. He is being haunted by strange visions and, as he puts it, “feels the breath of death like never before.” Throughout the game, we meet the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, who are there to inform us that it’s up to us to change Scrooge’s fate. We must undo any bad things that have happened in his life, joined by his alter egos who do help or not help throughout. Can we do it and make Scrooge’s life better? The game also has a cool bonus chapter where we transport into the Cat World and must find Santa Cat, meeting several cats to help our investigation. As a new take on the classic story, I really like it. The essence and overall vibe of the story are still there while also being its own thing. It’s very solid, with puzzles that aren’t too difficult to figure out and many delightful hidden object scenes. The collectibles in this game are morphing penguins, so keep an eye out as you go to each location. Furthermore, the music added nicely to the beautiful-looking environment. Overall, the game is a good length (about 4.5-5 hours), along with the bonus chapter. As for criticisms, there was only one puzzle I found too annoying and challenging that I skipped through (the one in Scrooge’s bedroom with the cabinet). Also, I will agree with others that some of the instructions for a couple puzzles aren’t the best. If you want to get into the holiday spirit, this is a solid entry in the [i] Christmas Stories [/i] series! I look forward to what’s next! [h1] 4 out of 5 ★★★★☆! [/h1]
