Christmas Patchwork Frozen is a winter puzzle game with mosaic/tiffany style pieces. You start with a few correct pieces already laid in place for you, and on the right side you can grab the other pieces to complete it. For every completed puzzle you earn keys, and with those you unlock other worlds with new levels. The puzzle's get harder as you progress, and it makes it even more challenging when you keep the timer on. The game ran smooth, it did however crash a few times when I tried to make a screenshot. Thankfully no progress was lost afterwards. Overall, it's a fun game that also offers a decent amount of content to keep you busy for a while.
Nettes Weihnachts-Puzzle! Bringt Stimmung. :) Nette Bilder. Ich mag die Musik, die hier dudelt... Wunsch: Steam-Errungenschaften.

Christmas Patchwork Frozen is a basic mobile-app like jigsaw/mosaic puzzle game. Solve various puzzles by placing stained glass window/mosaic pieces onto an existing picture (picture stolen off the internet and used without crediting the copyright holder). It's been done a million times before, for free, and free on mobile app stores too... yet this one has a hefty price tag on it. Who knew you can just charge $5 for mobile trash? I guess Creobit/8Floor does. The asset flipper/"developer", Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game SIXTEEN TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins, and more stolen artwork... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! This asset flipper is responsible for polluting steam a whopping 353 times with copy + paste shovelware asset flips. Here's a list of Creobit's copy + pastes of this asset:

Thanksgiving Day Mosaic
Mosaics Galore. Glorious Journey
Holiday Mosaics Halloween Puzzles
Alice's Jigsaw Time Travel
Fairytale Mosaics Cinderella
Christmas Patchwork Frozen (this asset flip)
Holiday Mosaics Christmas Puzzles
Fairytale Mosaics Beauty and Beast
Alice's Jigsaw. Wonderland Chronicles 2
Alice's Jigsaw. Wonderland Chronicles
Pirate Mosaic Puzzle. Caribbean Treasures
Mosaics Galore. Challenging journey
Mosaics Galore 2
Mosaics Galore
Alice's Patchworks 2
Alice's Patchwork
These are all reskins of exactly the same game! What value is there in this spam/pollution glutting the Steam store for gamers? From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio (although they put "wings", flat textures, on the pillars). It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes this might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Christmas Patchwork Frozen has the total ripoff price of around $5, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.
(+) The art is fine. (-) Layout is poor. It isn't just 4:3, but the powerup buttons are obtrusively above the picture. Seems like a several years old engine. Do you like screenshotting? Well, you need to clear away the powerup buttons even with 45+ seconds left. (-) You must drag the pieces. Fixed years ago. (+) If you are just casual and ignore stars and powerups, it's usually nice. (-) The first worlds are rather simple, then by the 5th you regularly need 10 hints to get going, earned in twice as many completed levels. Or is it just bad RNG? Shouldn't be. So you practice the same puzzle 5-10 times, farm some cash and memorise the layout, then when it seems nice, you start spending. Alternatively, use a second screen with a screenshot. Or just replay the entire game 3-4 times. My record is 30 powerups on a single level, worth about 75 legit levels. ... By the way, the text on this store page is for a different game by the same publisher.
Купила за 79 руб. (стоила 133 руб.) Красочная Рождественская игра. Играю без времени. У меня много таких игр. Жалко, что нет коллекционных карточек. Фон и смайлики были бы очень красивые и интересные.
I like this game, but I don't love this game. The pictures used in this game work well for this type of game, unfortunately, what should be simple game mechanics of drag and drop are so janky it's infuriating. Just hovering over the play area as you decide where a piece should go can cause the 'drop' sound to trigger even though you haven't released the piece yet, which is annoying if you're trying to keep all the achievements, since it only takes one 'mistake' to forfeit that achievement until you re-play that puzzle and hope that the game doesn't screw you up. That brings me to another issue that I hate with what should be a calm and relaxing game; you only get five pieces to play with at a time which are randomly generated and don't necessarily fit the existing pieces in the playing area, which means it's guess work as to where they're likely to go and you only need to drop it slightly away from where you think it should go for it to trigger as a mistake and thus forfeit the perfect score. Unless you go back to the main page to view the picture before you actually start the puzzle you have no clue what the image is supposed to be and therefore cannot visualise the likely places for the random and obscure shapes. Granted this is part of the fun, but if one mistake is all it takes to lose the achievements and none of the five pieces are obvious as to placement (even straight edges don't guarantee border pieces) then it is no longer fun but frustrating. Though I don't play with the timer on since I had wanted a 'relaxed' game I do question the allotted time given considering you have no context of the puzzle beforehand if you're playing immediately after completing one. I know it sounds like I'm griping and hate this game, but when the game actually co-operates and doesn't glitch it's actually quite fun, and the pictures when done look really nice. I bought this game at a discounted rate and I would not recommend buying it at full price due to the glitching that I've encountered with the controls, but just because I don't recommend it at full price doesn't mean you don't get value for money, there are plenty of puzzles to keep you occupied for a few minutes at a time, but my play-time on this game is misleading since much of those hours are spent re-playing a puzzle due to aforementioned glitching.
I got this for .49 cents USD on sale, and I'd honestly say that's a fair price, even with all the bells and whistles. Because there's a lot to love, like 120 puzzles with beautiful artwork. Hours of gameplay and a trophy rack. But there are also penalties for placing even a single piece wrong, even in casual mode. Seriously? And some of those trophies seem designed to pad out your playtime without adding fun or value. Think of having to grind for a million coins, and a trophy that requires you won the grindy coin trophy. Overall, it fits the trend of trying to make puzzles "exciting" by adding penalties, timers, etc. I guess to attract people who want more of an action aspect. But I just want no time limits, no penalties, and a group of puzzles to solve while I sip my coffee or tea. I'd actually uninstalled this game and went back in, but hour seven and puzzle 90 or so is when it stopped being fun for me. It felt like the puzzles switched from being pleasant Christmas time wasters to something downright mean in that the pieces became super wonky in cut and the designs were a nightmare to put together for me at least. Lukewarm thumbs up as it's pretty enough and you can turn off the timer aspect. It just got boring and frustrating for me after a while.

Game won't launch. CTRL/ALT/DEL needed to get to task manager to close game. Validating files and restarting PC didn't change anything. YMMV
