About
Chicken TD is a tower defense game where the main goal is to protect your chicken coop from wave after wave of oncoming creatures. Featuring a combination of traditional tower defense strategy and souls like combat, you are able to summon creatures around the map to hold off the invaders, while you yourself are also fighting with the weapon of your choice to keep the baddies away.
As the wave number gets higher, so do your forces, so be smart about which friends you choose to fight alongside you. As you defeat enemies, you can upgrade your forces with the currency you collect to add even more strategic complexity and allow you to get further.
Spend meta progression currency to give each type of friend their own special power, adding even more customizability. Speaking of customization, take on quests to get new hats and color combinations making your chicken the coolest looking clucker around.

Chicken TD is actually pretty fun with friends! for the price of a beer, I can experience the sort of chaos that normally we'd have to go out for. Highly recommended.
This is a fun, humorous game that has a gentle learning curve (I've never played a TD before) and quickly became addicting. The stages each add a unique challenge and opportunity for strategy, as do the weapons. Can't wait to see where this goes!
Chicken TD is not your grandad's tower defense. Hatching friends to do you bidding and taking down the enemies is as enjoyable as using the multitude of weapons at your feathertips. In particular, I enjoy using the Banana against the grouped up enemies and my favorite friend is the magical kitty(long range supremacy). If you are on the fence about this game, you should know that the dev is excellent at addressing feedback and is making updates and changes all the time.
Dev gave me a copy of this game, and I'm not even mad. The game is cute, adorable and oddly addicting. I'd still love the opportunity to try this out with friends, but sadly those are in short supply. The dev is very responsive, and she acts on community feed back quickly. You are buying into an early access experience, and some of the ui and stuff does reflect that, but even in its current state, it's a good time. I'm looking forward to following the development of this one.
I really struggled with the learning curve at first because for some reason I decided to only use the sword. I finally got frustrated enough to switch weapons and it opened up a whole new world for me. It allowed me to progress a lot further and now I've unlocked all sorts of upgrades and new weapons. 10/10 don't be afraid to try different weapons until you find what works best for you.
