不咋样
毫无打击感可言。有种玩flash游戏的感觉,非常不推荐
玩了一会,游戏还是不错的,就是没有打击效果音,以及僵硬的动作挺让人头疼的。
Chaos of East is a bold and visually striking action roguelike that embraces Chinese mythology as the foundation for its world and design. Developed by Lingjian Studio and published by CubeGame, it sets itself apart from the flood of Western-inspired roguelikes by building its structure and aesthetic around the concept of the six realms of reincarnation. Rather than following the traditional formula of randomly generated dungeon rooms, the game opts for a single, continuous path through each of its six major levels, representing the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth. This choice gives the adventure a sense of thematic cohesion, tying gameplay progression to spiritual symbolism. From the first moment, the game presents a fusion of ancient mysticism and modern action sensibilities, offering players a chance to explore a world steeped in Chinese legends while engaging in intense, fast-paced combat. At its heart, Chaos of East revolves around a mix of side-scrolling action and roguelike mechanics. Each run begins with the selection of a character inspired by figures from ancient Chinese mythology and folklore. Every hero comes equipped with both an active and passive ability that reflects their identity and mythic traits, resulting in varied playstyles that encourage experimentation. The controls are simple and responsive, allowing players to dodge, strike, and unleash special abilities in a rhythm that feels immediate and engaging. Combat is quick and dynamic, relying on player timing and reflexes more than on elaborate combo systems. Enemies appear in waves along the level’s path, requiring constant movement and attention. What keeps the action fresh is the integration of random passive traits and artifacts that can dramatically alter your strategy with each new run, ensuring that no two playthroughs feel identical. The game’s weapon and artifact systems form the core of its progression loop. Players can wield five distinct categories of weapons, each with unique appearances, animations, and passive bonuses that affect how combat unfolds. The artifact system adds another layer of complexity, inspired by ancient magical relics from myth. These artifacts don’t just act as statistical upgrades; they introduce new mechanics that can change how you approach encounters. Collecting and combining these items allows for a surprising range of synergy, and experimentation often leads to powerful or unpredictable results. This interplay between random elements and deliberate strategy gives Chaos of East its replay value, making every journey through the six realms feel like a new test of adaptation and creativity. The world of Chaos of East is as important as its mechanics. Visually, the game is painted with an appreciation for traditional Chinese art and folklore, filled with evocative backdrops, haunting architecture, and characters rendered in a distinct, brushstroke-inspired style. The color palette is rich yet restrained, evoking a mystical tone that supports the narrative of cyclical existence. Each realm is distinct, populated with enemies and designs that echo mythological creatures and spiritual symbolism. The music complements this visual direction, using traditional instruments and atmospheric arrangements to create a meditative, otherworldly soundscape. It’s not a loud or flashy experience, but rather one that invites players to lose themselves in its rhythm of combat and exploration. Despite its ambition and cultural depth, Chaos of East does not escape the pitfalls that often accompany indie roguelikes. The decision to use a linear, one-path level structure instead of randomized dungeons is a creative choice that aligns with the game’s theme but also limits its replayability over time. Once you’ve seen the environments and mastered the rhythm of each stage, the sense of discovery can diminish. Some players may also find the challenge curve uneven—certain encounters can feel abrupt or unfair, while others are too forgiving. The pacing occasionally falters between moments of intense action and stretches that feel mechanically repetitive. These shortcomings don’t overshadow the experience, but they do highlight the limits of the game’s scope and production scale. Nevertheless, the appeal of Chaos of East lies in its spirit. It offers something few roguelikes attempt: a mythologically rich, culturally distinct vision that connects the spiritual with the mechanical. The game’s structure, rooted in the six realms of reincarnation, gives every run a narrative and philosophical undertone, reminding the player that failure and rebirth are part of the cycle. The combination of accessible combat, varied characters, and thematic presentation makes it easy to recommend to players interested in games that mix folklore and fast-paced action. It may not have the polish or complexity of larger titles, but its sincerity and originality make it stand out among its peers. In the end, Chaos of East feels like a passion project—one that values atmosphere and cultural expression as much as gameplay. It’s a game about rhythm, repetition, and discovery, where mythology and mechanics intertwine to create a distinctive experience. While its limited depth and structural constraints prevent it from achieving greatness, it remains an admirable and enjoyable journey through a world that few other games have dared to depict. For those intrigued by Eastern mythology and looking for a roguelike that plays differently from the norm, Chaos of East delivers a memorable, if imperfect, exploration of chaos, fate, and rebirth.
