I acknowledge legacy of this game (and the game has actually influenced me too), but I think it's not for me. Soundtrack slaps.

The definition of classic indie game. Between my 50hrs and multiple playthroughs on multiple devices, i love this game
10/10 CERTIFIED HOOD CLASSIC
I love Robots
I'm going to try and keep this as level as I can. Story's pretty good, if a bit disjointed. You're thrown in as a guy with no idea WTF is going on and have to pick up the pieces as you go, no complaints here, it works pretty nicely (though a little cliche, but hey I ain't complaining). Platforming of *most* of the game is pretty alright, nothing to write home about as far as platformer games go but nothing super awful either. Some sections have some *interesting* design choices (worst example: in the most difficult platforming section of the game, the level designer decided to not only cover everything in spikes that do a fifth of your max health, but also remove all your weapon's upgrades, fill it with enemies, AND have both a boss fight AND a corridor of insta-kill crushers all in sequence with zero healing or save points between), but most of the game's pretty well put-together. But, all that aside, in my opinion the *entire game* is let down by its piss-poor controls. It's meant to be a precision platformer (or, feels like it based on platform-segment design) and yet every movement you make has an entire character's-length of "slide" after you release the controls, making actual precision aiming for jumps, falls, or even the simplest of "walk towards the edge" movements far more complicated than they should be. It felt like I was fighting the controls more than I was fighting anything else, and persisted throughout the entire game. Got to the point where I was nearly at the end of the game, and realized I just... wasn't having fun any more, and hadn't been for about half my playtime. It's the most frustrated I've ever been, and that comes from somebody who plays Noita to relax and did Hollow Knight's "Path of Pain" for fun...
Glad this game is finally getting updates on PC. Love the bug fixes and new features. Jelly stack and dog stack have improved my quality of life
It's like a story but in a cave.
