Great monster taming and collecting game! Takes about 18 hours to complete and then there is some light stuff after the story for a few hours. There are a lot of different types and move interactions that you will have to keep an eye on when battling. The swapping move sticker system is also incredibly handy for crafting the best team!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I absolutely loved this game! i do hope the sequal makes the major bosses a bit harder although i will say Kuneko, glaistain, averevoir and any other minor bosses whom i may have not faught yet were a very fun challenge. the art style is awsome and the battle mechanics are some of the best and most creative i've ever seen. 10/10 can't wait for Cassette Beats 2002 P.S. just thought i might add 1 tinsy tiny thing about the game: the fusions which are one of the main selling points of the games were a bit odd, mish-mashed and jarring in some cases(i do realize that is kinda the point) and i just think maybe 4 or 5 should of had a cool custom sprite where they looked just a bit cooler although that's a personal preference thing and should be totally disregarded.
Super cute, beat it in a couple days. Was definitely better than I had anticipated and am looking forward to the sequel.
So far, this game is really fun! the mechanics are great, the story is engaging, and the music is superb! Highly recommend to any pokemon fans.
If you've ever enjoyed Pokemon at any point in your life, you should try this game. I've long since not cared about Pokemon, but this brought me right back to that sense of wonder and adventure that 6 year old me had when playing Pokemon Red on my GameBoy Color.
Just beat carriage 150 of the Gauntlet, so leaving a review. (Note: I don't have DLC) Disappointment with the stagnancy of Pokemon has led me to the indie scene of monster tamers, and Cassette Beasts impressed me. The element system granting buffs/debuffs added a new layer to combat besides "number go up/down". Double battles being the standard was also nice, made support units more useful. Movesets are easy to modify using the sticker system. Levels are locked to the character, not the beast, so not much individual grinding. Overall the combat was an improvement over what I have been used to. Story is ok. Ending feels a bit rushed. Postgame makes for a better canon ending but requires you to beat the game to unlock it, so some minor ludo-narrative dissonance there. The villainous team analog basically being hyper-capitalist landlords and real-estate types was a chuckle. I found the characters charming. Extra dialogue/conversations run out and loop if you play long enough, which somewhat dampened my appreciation of them. Romance is available. Queer friendly. I like the music. Sprite art is nice. As for cons, animations can get lengthy and you can't really skip them. This does get irritating especially with some automated combo type passives and/or psuedo-infinite combos. Overworld is a bit clunky earlygame until you get more movement passives. Sticker/moveset management gets annoying lategame as you can't search by attribute. Overall I think this is worth the asking price. My complaints are outweighed by my enjoyment. Gamefreak take notes.
