CARRION is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origins, stalking and consuming those that imprisoned you.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20.57/day in the week to Aug 18 → 31.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Хорошая игра. Согласен с другими отзывами - хотелось бы иметь карту при закрытии на 100%. В геймплейном плане все очень приятно, удобно и интересно. Особенно дополнение меня порадовало
7/10
It's good, but It's a little short. I really liked this game, though there isn't much replay value. It's a little easy to get lost though; some of the abilitys are... underwhelming; & there's not really a way to play the game without slaughtering. But even then, I really think that this is a good game. The puzzles aren't too difficult, some of the optional ones can be a little tricky though I wish that there was more games like this. I haven't played it in a minute, so this review is a little... lacking. But if I ever replay it again, I'll update this review
Positives

Reverse-horror power fantasy
Well-paced ability evolution
Intuitive level design
Satisfying and quick puzzles
Achievement hunter friendly

Negatives

Short length
DLC is much shorter
Barebones story
Backtracking can be confusing

Conclusion
Carrion is a small scale power fantasy that can make you feel unstoppable without leaving you bored. Its level design guides you intuitively as paths open and close during progression in a way that doesn't hamper exploration but gently guides you to the right direction throughout its length. It also helps that additional abilities are easy to come by as they naturally open up new gameplay mechanics for you to play around. The puzzles are a good treat as well and extend into combat sections, where you can be forced to think and act quickly on how to approach an enemy encounter. Resolving these obstacles don't take much time and feel rewarding, which is furthered by the fact that this is a very easy game to get every achievement on. That said, the game is notably short, with the free Christmas-themed DLC being much more shorter, though one could argue that the brevity ensures that the gameplay loop doesn't overstay its welcome. There's also little to no story besides the main objective to eventually escape, though even that can feel difficult if you attempt to backtrack for missing abilities, as the further you progress the game, the more routes you have opened, meaning the more routes and mazes you have go back through to determine where previous sections of the game were set. Taken together, Carrion is a tight, thrills-first experience that nails its core fantasy and puzzle pacing even as aspects feel limited. It’s a worthwhile one-day beat for a new game to complete. If you want a compact spectacle you can finish in a single session, then Carrion hits that mark.
Should you buy it?
When it's on sale or in a bundle.
unironically linear metroidvania. didn't get lost once despite my poor sense of direction and bad memory. physics and controls are satisfying.
human segments may be pretty boring but they're all short and there's not much of them anyway.
easy and fun 100% completion. comes with a small xmas themed dlc that's also not bad.
玩法不错
Игра замечательная всем от гемплея до сюжета. Игра стоит своих денег и на 4ч прохождения. Не понимаю тех людей которым не понравилась это игра. 10 из 10
