About

Carnival Hunt is a 5v1 first-person asymmetrical horror game set within a twisted carnival world created by the Puppetmaster.
Five players become fragile wind-up Bunnies who must work together, complete objectives, and find a way to escape. One player becomes the Carnival Monster, hunting them before they can complete their performance.
Both sides depend on their wind-up charge to survive. Bunnies must manage limited keys and keep one another moving, while the Monster must capture Bunnies and consume their keys to remain active.
Every key makes noise. Every mistake can reveal your position. Every second brings the performance closer to its end.
Work together as a team of five wind-up Bunnies.
Complete objectives, explore the map, share resources, and coordinate your escape before the Carnival Monster finds you.
The Bunnies are not powerful fighters. Survival depends on teamwork, careful movement, resource management, and knowing when to hide.
A separated Bunny is an easy target.
Your wind-up charge gradually runs down throughout the match.
Use keys to keep yourself moving, wind up your teammates, and activate important mechanisms. Keys are limited, and using them creates noise that can reveal your location to the Monster.
Spend them carelessly, and your team may not have enough charge to escape.
Bunnies must keep one another moving.
Trust is a resource.
Groups of fallen Bunnies can be found throughout the carnival.
Hide among them and pretend to be one of the lifeless puppets when the Monster approaches.
The Monster can inspect the bodies one by one, but every search costs precious time and charge. Remain still, stay convincing, and hope the Monster chooses incorrectly.
Take control of the Carnival Monster and stop the Bunnies before they escape.
Track their movements, disrupt their objectives, separate the group, and consume their wind-up keys to extend your own charge.
Each Monster has unique abilities designed around hunting, deception, pressure, and control.
Predict where the Bunnies will go.
Punish their mistakes.
Break their coordination.
Every player experiences the hunt from a first-person perspective, limiting situational awareness and keeping danger just outside their field of view.
Use positional voice chat to communicate with your teammates, but be careful. The Monster may be listening.
Winding keys, activating mechanisms, moving through the environment, and communicating at the wrong moment can expose your position.
Sometimes silence is the safest strategy.

Explore procedurally arranged map layouts built from 32 modular rooms across several carnival themes. Routes, room connections, and the spaces you encounter can change from one match to the next.
Each hunt challenges the Bunnies to understand their surroundings, complete their objectives, and adapt before the Monster brings the performance to an end.
The Monster performs.
The Bunnies perform.
Even death has a role to play.
Customize your character and enter the carnival dressed to impress, intimidate, or deceive.
After all, every performer needs the right costume.
Wind your friends. Protect your keys. Listen carefully.
The carnival is waiting.

Como es posible que de cada 2 partidas 1 se bugea o por el server. o por las puertas (En el caso del killer) Donde no te deja usar poderes ni nada y simplemente te quedas paralizado. absurdo.
A big laggy but amazing gameplay and sound design, both haunting, hard and mostly fun 1v5 horror game! Hope to see the game grow and improve in time!

The game is great. Good concept, and have been waiting a while for this game to come out. I highly recommend getting it. Only down side is right now for me is that it keeps saying my matchmaking failed so I have to close game and restart then works fine.
now im not one for horror syms game. but this game has my heart ive been playing this game for awhile and i love it plus i dont normally type reviews on games so for me to do this it means a lot. there a whole comunity who loves helping people as they even taught me on how to play the game i really do love this game and pray for the future for it for those, willing to buy it please remember they are 3 people working on this game and i give them crew for making it this far
Having tons of fun playing the game
Currently the game is in a rough state and unless you are dying for something to play or are a fan of the asymmetrical multiplayer genre I would probably wait on this one till it improves. It is on the cheaper side being 20 bucks which is nice but the launch is quite buggy and laggy. However I will leave a positive review because of the other positives such as creative game design and systems to stand out from the competition. Hopefully the game can improve and be in a better state in the coming months.
I didnt play a lot for the moment but so far I played on both side a little, managed to escape as bunny and win as hunter. The thematic of the game is crazy good , steampunk mixed with that dark circus give a really great atmosphere. The game offer a lot of unique mechanics in the asym horror PVP niche, it's really refreshing since we dont have a lot of those type of games around outside of Dead By Daylight. It's hard and im far to understand everything, it can be a bit frustrating as a bunny because you have to start from zero a bunch of time but if you have that patience it should be fine. Early access , even if there is server issue and quality of life that is missing we should be patient with them because.. it seems like everyone is REALLY patient with BHVR lets not forget all the error that they made so far ( And I have played a lot of DBD in my life trust me.)... SO let's be patient with little studio like that , give them time and some try. If you are not happy right now with the game , come back in some days? Weeks? Wait at least for some patch and maybe you'll be happier ! If you are thinking about buying this game , I think it's the time for it, if you have to count each penny in your pocket maybe wait a little , try to share the game to other people at least. Cheers , have fun and try to make this little game live if you like it, we all know not a single asym horror game survived because of the ''KING'' of the hill... :/
Amazing! Love the direction and gameplay. Can't wait for more skins.
This game is a gem and really deserves a chance to shine. Im using dbd terminology to help as i think that'll be alot of the playerbase. Please dont see this game as "the next dbd killer" as that sets up the game to be something it isnt. It is however a pretty fun asym horror game and a good alternative with a much more casual focus than dbd. please give it a try as the price point isnt that high. I've played since the playtest way back when (that's why my hours are low in this review) and in my opinion: positives:: -bunny or 'survivor' gameplay is really fun. You have a range of objectives and interactions with the killer are much more varied than dbd. this isnt shade on dbd I love chase in dbd but stealth isnt really as much of a feature in dbd than in carnival hunt. -tunnelling is gone. you have a basekit "ds" or in other words you can instantly bite the killer off of you if they have recently taken you down the equivalent of a hook state and you also are able to use holes around the map to quickly teleport away from a killer if they try to still chase you. I once had a guy in proximity vc get mad at me for tunneling though which i found strange because i just wanted him to escape via tunnel for a daily. On that note.,.. -proximity vc, I enjoy it alot. As killer it gets very fun experiences where you can hear when youve scared someone or them do something funny. As bunny it allows you to communicate with teammates very easily. -The animation is really clean, for a game from a very indie team i didnt expect such freshness -Bug free mostly, there are some optimisation issues but other than that it's pretty good. I have encountered bugs but they havent been anything TOO major -The gameplay loop is really engaging. Bunnies have to slowly climb to the top of the map to escape however the killer can grab bunnies and throw them down to the bottom floor. for bunnies it's very hectic for them to be going up and down. -To do the equivalent of a "hook state" here you pick up a bunny then throw it into something taking away one of their life gears. 3 strikes and youre out like dbd. Unlike dbd however you're given alot more choice of what to do after grabbing a bunny.. You can throw them down several floors, to an area you've trapped/ want bunnies to stay in, put them in a timeout jail, put them in a cage (weird sword box thing), throw them at each other damaging both bunnies hit or throw them UP floors if youre weird. it's alot more choice which i like -throwing people is also incredibly satisfying. funny ragdolls still work on me im sorry -the hat grab on magician is very fun to use when you manage to use it. Feels so satisfying to snatch someone like im a hawk and the animation and sound design make it extra satisfying negatives:: -'swf' or playing with your friends is so significantly stronger. It is extremely easy to prevent a killer from getting any value and i dont think that should remain. For example you can prevent a teammate from being killed mid kill animation (mori equivalent) using two pretty easy to find items (that being marbles or fireworks). at minimum a killer should be able to pre-emptively put something in place to prevent that from happening. -the downtime for killer is really boring. bunnies have like 50 objectives to do while as magician im just walking, walking, walking, yay fun chase fun objective, walking, walking, walking -cooldowns on killer feel weird. using magician (the only killer right now) as an example, the cooldowns often feel both too short as a bunny while too long for the magician. Maybe make cooldowns reactive to some degree? what if not seeing bunnies for long enough pissed off the magician decreasing the cooldowns? -I dont like some of the slows as killer. literally every ability slows you down to a crawl and there are ALOT of animation locks that are pretty long. im fine with most of them except abilities. One change i cant really see as a negative is making the hat grab reactive to if you got it successfully or not. you move at only lets say 90% slower mid grab animation, and if you miss a grab THEN you get the slower movespeed penalty and if you get a grab you move as normal. I still only probably have like 15-50 hours in this game overall (I know dbd for example 500 hours is still seen as being a new player), it is very new right now so this is pretty fluid review and could change over time. Note however all the negatives are stuff that can be changed. even if you are a dbd stan giving this game a try could really support indie development AND would help prevent burnout from dbd. I love both games and hope that carnival hunt does well!
