Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle

On February 3rd 2026 Capcom released an update that removed Denuvo, a DRM which requires a costant internet connection, and replaced it with the Enigma Protector. This DRM is supposed to prevent "cheating" (any kind of modding of the game) and it's russian developed. Tested by the Youtube channel Digital Foundry in the video "Resident Evil 4 PC: Is New DRM Impacting Game Performance?" has been found that the Enigma Protector DRM causes an average of -10% in framerate drops, with dips of -40% in certain scenarios, way more than the original Denuvo DRM. This is not the first time that Capcom decided to put Enigma in some of their older games: RE Revelations suffered major backlash from customers because of the major dip in perfomance, so much so they had to remove Enigma from the game for good and recently they released the original Dino Crisis series on Steam, a quick scouring of the forum will reveal a lot of customers unhappy with the perfomance of said games. Why a 25 years old single player game that should run flawlessly on a phone had to be "protected" against "cheating" is everyone's guess, especially when you realise that a GOG version of both games was already available, without the Enigma Protector and without issues. Here's my grievances with it: -Retroactively degrading perfomances of a game or a product is an unethical and fundamentally anti-consumer practice that should be illegal. Imagine your car having less hp out of nowhere because the car company decided to update the software that way -Capcom degraded the game for no reasons at all, Enigma Protector doesn't prevent cheats or mods in any capable way and it's openly mocked by the mod communities -All Capcom's game that have been "protected" by Enigma suffered of significant perfomance loss and the DRM can be easily removed by the cracking scene. The customer is therefore presented with this funny scenario: would you rather download the game for free or pay money for a degraded version that runs worst than the pirated copy? -There's a very likely possibility that in future all Capcom's games will eventually incorporate the Enigma DRM years after launch, the system that you used to play them could eventually not being capable of the same perfomance as before, forcing some to spend money on very costly upgrades (due to the AI craze) -The DRM is russian developed, profits from the company are most likely to be used in the ongoing russian invasion of Ukraine. This is not only unethical per-se but raises security questions for all the countries where the governments are actively funding the ukranian defense: Russia is well known to use cyber warfare against its enemies, I personally don't want anything russian developed in my system -Enigma Protector devs in the past have behaved very unprofessionally, mocking and insulting whoever questioned the validity of their practices and their work, raising more than one red flag on the true purpose of their work and their true intent I don't know who and why at Capcom signed a contract for this to happen but they clearly got scammed and it's time for them cope with it. I will leave a negative review on all my Capcom products and maybe I will revert them if they abandon Enigma altogether. Just maybe though, I'm kind of fed up on AAA publishers malpractices.

Capcom Beat 'Em Up is fine, you get to select your controls whether you're a natural gamepad or controller player or a keyboarder like me, change game settings, even the language of the game you want to play is great. You also have the choice of playing Offline or Online mode, in which in online mode, your scores and rankings will be on the leaderboard. Though this bundle has the classic games, just wish it had more games. All right, don't take my word for it, try this out for yourself if you're a fellow Retro Gamer. Keep Retro Gaming alive! 100% excellent collection of games you cannot possibly play otherwise. Just buy it already. Even has online co-op, tho I haven't used it.

At this point you probably know if you like these games or not. If you like the games in the package I would recommend. If you don't like the games in this package then I don't recommend. Not much else to say.

Cierto que faltan varios Beat'em up de Capcom: Alien vs Predator(1994), Cadillacs and Dinosaurs(1993) u otros como Dungeons&Dragons, The Punisher (que están en otros recopilatorios de Capcom). Pero todavía así, merece mucho la pena este recopilatorio. La galería de arte/ilustraciones no es extensa, mas añade un extra precioso. Cuando esté de oferta, ni te lo pienses! Gracias a Capcom por este recopilatorio, que está tanto en Steam como en consolas.

Otimo jogo com uma coleção bem interessante de jogos, tirando 1 jogo que achei estranho demais todos os outros são muito marcantes e nostalgicos.
