Me encantan los Metal Slug, es de los juegos que más jugué en mi vida, pero es asqueroso y lamentable lo pedorros que son los ports de los primeros juegos en PC. Andan todos lageados y, al final, se juegan mucho mejor en un emulador. Por eso no recomiendo esta versión de mierda. Hablando del juego, es mucho mejor que el primero. Tenés nuevas armas, mi favorita es el rayo láser. También hay vehículos nuevos e incluso te podés transformar en una momia o hacerte gordito, lo que potencia tus ataques. A eso hay que agregarle que el final del jueguito es épico y muy recordado por ser una parodia de Independence Day, jaja.

''El clásico arruinado por las ralentizaciones y los crasheos" Aunque Metal Slug 2 introdujo elementos brutales a la saga (como las momias, el estado obeso y a Eri y Fio), la realidad es que esta versión en Steam es muy frustrante de jugar debido a un rendimiento técnico imperdonable. Crasheos constantes: El port es sumamente inestable en sistemas modernos. Es una lotería: el juego se cierra solo (crashea) directamente al iniciar, al cambiar la resolución en el menú o, lo que es peor, en mitad de una misión tirando a la basura todo tu progreso de la partida. Rendimiento insufrible: Emula de forma tan vaga el hardware original de la NEOGEO que hereda todas sus caídas de rendimiento históricas. En cuanto se juntan tres enemigos, un vehículo y un par de explosiones en pantalla, el juego se ralentiza a niveles absurdos. Jugar a tirones rompe el ritmo frenético que exige un run and gun. Existe Metal Slug X: No tiene sentido comprar el 2 teniendo disponible Metal Slug X en Steam. El X es, literalmente, este mismo juego pero con el motor arreglado para que vaya fluido, sin caídas de frames, con mejor distribución de enemigos y, sobre todo, mucho más estable ante los cuelgues. Cooperativo online roto: Intentar jugar con alguien a través de internet es insufrible. Al lag de la conexión se le suman los tirones propios del juego y el miedo constante a que la partida se congele o se cierre por un crasheo del netcode. Conclusión: Como parte de la historia es una joya, pero este port para PC es deficiente y perezoso. Si quieres disfrutar de esta campaña sin tirones ni cierres inesperados al escritorio, compra Metal Slug X y sáltate esta versión.
