About
Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across an immense line up of maps and modes.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead. Fight across six new maps, with the new Directed Mode for those wanting to witness the Zombies story with a guided experience, and Grief, a mode for those looking for a more competitive experience.

verified purchaser of this game on steam and have to be honest i asked for my money back and they refused immediately this game menus are still broke the publishers and activision refuse to fix or amend the broken menus and the game runs heavy on zombies trash piece of bloat ware game software and there are hackers and cheaters in multiplayer lobbies. the campaign is trash also very mixed and all over the place and the villiain is a woman who has little to do with the story.
I'm a zombies player and dont care for the multiplayer with that said the zombies is excellent in this game. The maps and general gameplay is great... HOWEVER they have yet to fix the armory (and doubt they ever will). This game is awesome but Actvision chopped its legs off so next year's game can win the race like they do for all their games. Only thing holding this game back is the higher ups and executives.
Just like my other reviews relating to CoD, my interest is only in Zombies. And it was alright, doing good. I say was, speaking in past, because while very similar to Cold War in concept (which I enjoyed, other than the frequent crashing because of driver issues), and absolutely still enjoyable in its own regard, I'm conflicted. It's not as easy as Cold War, which is fine because I do like challenges. HOWEVER, that's because the game seemed to think it was a great idea to be as painfully annoying with special zombies as possible. You liked the armored zombies from CW? You know, those zombies that take even more damage than they need to and are completely unnecessary because of the zombies gaining health over time? No, you didn't and they were annoying as hell? Well good news, they're absolutely everywhere now! Remember the manglers, those big dudes that first appeared in BO3? You ever wanted them to be even more common and annoying? Well good news, they are now! Overall, while I don't mind the higher amount of armored enemies TOO much, it's still a massive headache to deal with, having a whole horde of armored things coming after you. Then, there's the new features. Compared to CW, there's a lot more to do. Like, a LOT more. Three gobblegums at once, manually equipping armor pieces, changing fire mode on some weapons (which, admittedly, is neat), along the usual grenades, melee, field upgrades and the like. It's a LOT to look at and manage when you first start playing this game, especially from CW to BO6. But I can live with that, you can get used to that. However, one massive problem about the game, is the HUD. Imagine a HUD that outlined absolutely nothing and shoved essential things to the side. Why is my ammo counter so small? Why is absolutely everything displayed at once in every corner, nothing being intuitive at all? WHY, IN THE NAME OF GOD, IS THE HEALTH METER SO SMALL, you know the literal most important thing to keep track of??? And why is that usual red screen effect indicating near death so non-existent?????? I can't tell you the amount of times where I was like "wait, that killed me!?" simply because absolutely nothing warned me I was one hit away from dying, and neither could I tell because I was keeping track of the massive horde of armored zombies and manglers, along with the gazillion other things in the HUD. Overall, massive downgrade from previous games. And while you can probably get used to these, what you can't get used to is probably one of the most blatant displays of greed from our dear Activision. There's this thing called the "Armory", which in concept is absolutely amazing. It allows you to unlock things that were previously locked behind the battle pass (tell me you wanna be fortnite without telling me you wanna be fortnite), which is honestly a really cool idea, and for once, allows people who don't wanna pay microtransactions in a full priced game to get the unlocks that matter. Or at least that was the intention, because it would seem Activision remembered they're supposed to milk idiots out of their money and be as anti-consumer as possible. SUDDENLY, and CONVENIENTLY, the armory became "glitched", and it remains entirely locked even if you fulfill the unlock criteria. AND IT JUST SO HAPPENS, THAT VERY AND COMPLETELY COINCIDENTALLY, THIS HAPPENED EXACTLY AS BO7 CAME OUT. WOW, HOW CONVENIENT AND STRANGE!!! So to unlock any of the armory-locked things (for the entire game mind you, not even just zombies), your only way of doing so is unlocking them via BO7 (hmm, quite curious), or Warzone, neither of which I can play because of their (willing to bet useless by now) anti-cheat that requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, so for people like me whose computer doesn't support those, there is zero way to unlock any of the armory weapons. They say it's a glitch they're working on fixing, but let's be honest, it's Activision. I have no reason not to believe they locked it entirely to encourage idiots to buy BO7, because it sure is convenient that it "broke" as soon as BO7 came out, and that they've yet to do anything to fix it. And if all this wasn't enough, there's also those minor inconveniences like... a pause timer on my solo match, that force-quits and saves your game, and doesn't even restart when you unpause: it only restarts when you quit the game. Oh, and instead of running locally, solo games are hosted on Activision's servers, meaning if your internet connection is poor, you'll lag. In a solo game. Which you also can't pause for too long. ????????????????????????? Admittedly though, the game saving feature is certainly handy. It allows you to pause and keep playing later, in case you need to take care of something, instead of having to commit like every other Zombies game. Some may not like being allowed to do that, but you can just end the match manually like before. It's especially handy if your game crashes, as it autosaves and allows you to retake from where you left off (happened to me once). And while the save does get deleted in a month... why would you want to return to that save if you haven't played in a whole month anyway, if you're gonna be gone for that long just end the match dude. Personally, really cool feature and quite handy, allowing you to quit and continue later, even keeping the progress of any main quest you may have started. Overall? It's... okay. It's still very similar to CW, and the maps are sick (haven't played them all yet but Liberty Falls, Terminus and Citadelle des Morts have been really fun). There's differences like the removal of high-grade salvage, and some previous salvage-only purchases are now simply bought with points, but overall, you'll enjoy it if you enjoyed CW, it'll just take a bit to get used to the atrocious HUD and the many many abilities to keep track of. However, I can't recommend something that has such blatant displays of greed that's also sold to people. I don't recommend it, but if you liked CW and wanna give it a shot, at least get it on discount, this is NOT worth full price. TL DR: You'll like it if you played CW, but get it on discount; do not give Activision any more money than they need to if you still feel you wanna pay for this. Between the AI assets, the armory """"glitch"""" and Activision overall being Activision, I would not recommend this game to anyone. Only good things is that it's still pretty alright (as far as Zombies is concerned at least), and at least it's decently cheap on discount compared to the older games due to their DLC. Like with CW, do not get this if you're a diehard fan of the WaW-BO3 era, but if you liked CW, then you'll likely enjoy the newer maps and content. Also COD HQ sucks.
The story of Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 was good and engaging as well. The multiplayer was not good had little variety in it in terms of operators and also the gameplay was not engaging as previous titles. The Omni movement addition to the title was innovative but it did not bring much to the core gameplay. I haven't play much of zombies on this one. Overall I think the story mode was good so I give it a thumbs up for this title despite the multiplayer and lack of engagement to zombies that both modes felt boring and repetitive in nature.
Why do pepole call this game ♥♥♥♥? this game is better than Black Ops 7. The Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies are pretty good. Like i did my first Pack-a-Punch and the Operators are good. 10/10 Game.
I'm going to be super honest, i would do anything to get a refund now on this damn game. Just to let the review readers know, my Gaming Pc (im not joking) FRIED itself as soon as i started the game, basically 1 frame per business day, other than just entering it for the first time requires a crap ton of things to be done/downloaded, also.. ABSOLUTELY not worth the price, and i'll tell ya, no matter how much they drop the sales on this game, even tough you would have better chances at kicking a rock at a highway that would cause a fatal car crash, do NOT buy it, because what do you mean i have to spend 80€ to get a barely functioning game that includes a bunch, and i mean A BUNCH of in-game transactions, and also a battle pass of... rather uncreative characters? I bought this game because i saw a couple of videos about the Squid Game event, it interested me so i bought it, well.. rather i just added it to my library because, as i said before, my PC got fried and well, no battlepass, which to MY SURPRISE, it's also a bunch of "transaction-slop" to get basically more than half of the skins, since only a quarter of those things required grinding. I'd kill to get a refund right now, 2/10, the 2 for the quality, stick to the older ones or just play Battlefield, i may have exaggerated, see ya. P.S.: you might notice i have 0 hours on the game, well, it's cause i played it for 30 minutes, which weren't even gameplay, i was just trying to fix it.
We are finally free from the cancer that is COD HQ. Shame that the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead at this point though
better than Black Ops 7. If you still can, return that piece of pure pain and buy this instead but beware of Beavis and Butt Head running around with a TEMU stg44
