Very cool little game but maybe a bit over priced. I got it on sale. Basically everything you need to know you can see in the video. I like the minimalist pixel art style for a change of pace from Elden Ring. There is a nice dash move. You can switch between melee or ranged attack etc. Controller support is good. Nice tight aiming radius for right stick. Reasonably high difficulty curve but not so much for dedicated gamers.
Got softlocked in the third area of the game. Invisible walls locked me out of the exit to the next floor. I checked the forums and saw that issue being brought up 2 years ago... You would figure it would be fixed by now, especially since the devs are clearly still updating this game. Another issue are the unclear visuals. Thankfully, you can darken the floor and disable flashing lights, making the enemies and bullets slightly more visible. The problem with that solution is the fact that the chasms are nigh invisible when the floor is darkened. Also, some floors are lighter than others, making that setting inconsistent. Imo the best solution to that problem is adding clear outlines across the enemies and bullets (kind of like Revita, another roguelike with pixel graphics, does). There is one more bug (or is it intentional? Either way, it's annoying) I saw - for some reason you don't aim at the cursor when you're moving. For example, when you put the cursor above your character and start moving up while holding the LMB, you start shooting behind your character despite the cursor still being above him. If you move the mouse, the aim readjusts and you hit where you're aiming (meaning you can't keep the mouse steady and move around if you want to hit your target). Overall, it's an okay little game, especially now that it's on sale, but I can't recommend it because of the invisible wall bug.
Very fun roguelike, huge fan of the genre overall and while not groundbreaking it is a great example of the genre done right. Also huge plus for native Linux support :)
говно
Игра попыталась объединить Enter the Gungeon и The Binding of Isaac.
Problems with weapons while in movement.
not enjoyable at all, buy enter the gungeon, rainworld or RoR2 for some fun
