Super fun arcade experience - classic style arcade gaming! Lovely colourful retro pixel art graphics and a great chip tune soundtrack. The single-player game is a lot of fun, but multiplayer co-op play is a blast! Atari VCS and retro gaming fans in general will enjoy this one-more-go joystick basher!
This game is a lot of fun. The graphics are reminiscent of the original Intellivision and the game play is an update to a certain burger making arcade game from the early 80s. If you are looking for a new challenge in the style of older arcade games where the whole point is to score the highest score, then look no further than this wonderful game.

As you can see, I've spent a lot of time playing this game. But it is highly frustrating. The physics of this game are wonky. And there's often times you can't possibly avoid death. Just play the real Burger Time.
"Super Smash Burgers" The most fun you can have making pixellated burgers for $2.99. (Unless it's even cheaper than that now.) Burger Lord may look like a certain arcade classic from the 80's, but it's actually got it's own thing going on. Faster, more furious, with MUCH more flexible platform physics, and gratefully not at all stingy on the peppers...because you're gonna need 'em. And I haven't even tried the multiplayer yet. A few cons: No instructions, so check the community pages before you play. Procedurally generated levels lend variety, but occasional make getting to that last burger needlessly difficult. A level timer that should really be on-screen but is invisible. And there's a late-game enemy that all but annihilates the game's balance, and not in the player's favor. I'd love to see some tweaks, but let's be honest, it's an indie game made by one guy, so I'll take the good with the bad. Fun, addictive and $3. 'Nuff said. *EDIT It took me WAY too long to figure out you don't have to finish every burger to advance to the next level, unlike in the classic arcade game. So yeah, instructions are badly needed here imo
ADDICTIVE and recommended. It does not come with instructions, so to save other newbies any confusion: When the level collapses, you want to be standing on a “complete” burger (2 buns + patty minimum). You have a max of 9 peppers, and can replenish one by touching a pepper-sign. This is a wonderful adaptation of the old arcade / Intellivision game “Burger Time”. It adds new elements and maneuvers, making it a better game in my opinion. The enemies are cute, and I even love the subtle sound effect of the doors opening.
This is a quirky alternative to the classic Burgertime and anyone who's ever played it will get the hang of this really quickly. While I do recommend this game, the controls and physics are really janky and need a lot of work. Arguably, that's part of the charm and keeps you coming back to get better at it, but this problem rears its head a little too often at key moments while playing and outstays its welcome in short order. Also, in later levels, the introduction of certain enemy types ratchets the difficulty to an obscenely unfair level where you are just doomed to fail as everything, even your own controls, are against you. The potential was there for this one to be great, but it's merely ok. Still worth checking out for the price, though, at least.
