Dies ist eine unglaublich schöne Bildbearbeitungs- und Szenerie - Erstellungssoftware für Anfänger und Beginner, wie mich, die gerne ihrer Kreativität freien Lauf lassen möchten =) Am Anfang ist ein kleines Tutorial, was einem ein bisschen was erklärt und ein paar Grundlagen der Steuerung nennt. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich hier selber viel Zeit mit rumprobieren investiert habe, bis ich wirklich alles verstanden habe. (Um ehrlich zu sein, bin ich mir immer noch nicht sicher, ob es nicht noch mehr gibt, was man alles einstellen kann). Am Anfang ist das alles sehr überfordernd. Aber gebt hier wirklich nicht gleich auf. Es lohnt sich am Ende wirklich sehr =) Von Baumhöhe, über Breite, wehende Blätter, Wetterveränderungen, Hintergründe, verschiedene Bauelemente bis hin zu Lichtverhältnissen, hier gibt es wirklich immens viele Möglichkeiten, Einstellungen zu treffen, zu ändern und genau anzupassen. Von jedem Schmetterling, bis hin zur Wasserquelle und jedem einzelnen Lichtstrahl, ist hier alles änderbar. Selbst das Terrain, die Farben, Steine und jedes kleine Detail. Dies macht es für mich unheimlich spannend und es ist toll, am Ende zu sehen, was man selber "erschaffen" hat =) Man kann viel probieren, testen und auch im Nachhinein noch verändern oder gar entfernen. Jede Szene ist dabei absolut einzigartig und besonders. Hier steckt die Liebe im Detail: Jeder Lichtpunkt, jedes Wasser, jedes Wetter und deren Auswirkungen, wie z.B. Schnee und Regen, verändern die Szenerie immens. Man kann sogar bestimmen, wie viel Schnee auf dem Boden oder den Bäumen ist. Auch Leuchtkäfer oder Blickpunkte mit Hilfe von Lichtverhältnissen sind hier machbar und ändern das ganze Artwork ab =) Auch Bauelemente, wie Häuser, Tiere und mehrere Dekoelemente sind hier nutzbar, die man nach Lust und Laune, in Größe, Breite, Dicke etc. anpassen kann =) Was am Anfang immer schön ist, ist das man ein Stück Erde sieht, was bebaut wird und man darf festlegen, ob man eine neue Szene möchte, die Pflanzen nur entfernen will oder man passt von vorne herein das Terrain mit seinen Höhen, Tiefen und Wasser, Lava oder sonstigem selber an. Da ich große Natur- und Szenen - Liebhaberin bin, ist für mich dieses Programm einfach perfekt. Ob als Artwork, Hintergrund, Fotogeschenk oder auf Papier oder Wandbild gebracht, man hat unendliche Kreative Möglichkeiten mit dem Endergebnis. Vor allem ist man stolz und freut sich, selber "Erschaffer seiner eigenen, kleinen Landschaft" zu sein =D Von mir gibt es hier eine absolute, klare Herzensempfehlung für alle, die sich kreativ und Naturtechnisch ausprobieren möchten =)

Well, I haven't been using Flow Scape for that long, so it might still be a bit early for a review. However, I feel like I've understood everything well and if I notice anything else later, I can always revise it. And one thing I want to mention right away: Before I bought it, I read something in the reviews, but so far I haven’t once experienced the issue where placed elements suddenly go missing despite saving. If that happened more often, we’d be having a very different conversation. The toolbar/inventory menu and the save menu could use some slight improvements, I often press save twice because I’m unsure if it actually saved. To quickly add to that, yes the controls aren't always precise and could use a bit more fine-tuning. Some details and animations could also be more refined but as it stands, it's definitely sufficient and good enough. There is a discussion on Steam, with claims that the developer made false promises and that Flow Scape is an abandoned one with no updates in the past years or any planned for the future. Allegedly, the developer is only interested in working on their next game, which is quite similar and called OceanScape. I can't really assess the situation at this point, for me personally the software is functional enough to work with, but I do understand how it creates a strange impression when no updates have been released for many years. Apparently you can't export your creations to edit them in another software, but I haven't found anything claiming that this was ever supposed to be possible. However, I have read multiple times that you are allowed to use screenshots and videos for your projects without needing a license and that's exactly what I'm using it for, mainly for short stories. It also allows you to run an automatic camera sequence, making it a good tool for creative minds who want to craft their own landscapes for a presentation, event visuals or cover artwork. With a wide range of design options, it's ideal for artists, storytellers and hobbyist world-builders.

A landscape software... WITHOUT MEASURING TOOLS?! Flowscape has the same damnable issue as Zoo Planet - and the more you play, the more it becomes apparent in the loading screens... You can't do 'crafts 1.0.1' and take measures first to plan your build (unless you're willing to stack zebras on top of each other to gauge height...) I mean, how is anyone supposed to check actual line-of-sight and field-of-view if there is no way of making sure your subject is at the intended distance and elevation, in relation to your location??? How can anyone figure the right scale for each object in the composition? Trial and error? Considering there is no 'undo' button and that the eraser is rather 'all or nothing', that's self-flagellation. This alone makes Flowscape futile for both artistic reference and RPG-mapping (not to mention world-building...) But then, to add insult to injury, the 3D objects' scales are randomly incompatible too, forcing you to scrap an entire project when you realize that, oops, these houses cannot be scaled any smaller, which will make that cathedral look like a shed... And, oops, the only palissade dwarves all the motte towers on a large map... And of course, by default, there is no cow, no goat, no pig, no wheat, no ploughed field, no herb garden models, even though the software is labelled 'medieval'... Could Steam take down that tag, please? Please. Now, I get that not everyone wants to keep at least one foot on the ground when reaching for the stars... Their funeral. I still wish there was a warning like 'NOT FOR PEOPLE LOOKING TO CULTIVATE THEIR CONNECTION TO REALITY THROUGH ARTISTIC ESCAPISM"

[h1] 游戏名：《金山画王 PRO PLUS》 [/h1] 神仙软件！！！！可以自由搭建想要的各种风格的场景。虽然暂时还不能导出模型，但是做为创作场景大型看看效果或者做做参考什么的都很有帮助。而且只要有耐心，搭建精致的场景拍摄高清照片也相当美。希望继续丰富模型库，最好开放创意工坊搭建共享模型简直就无敌了，可玩性暴涨啊。跪求增加模型打组，复制组件，全选模型整体放大缩小等便捷的功能。太需要了T T现在有很多调整还比较麻烦。期待后续更新！！！！！会疯狂安利给小伙伴们的！！！！

This was not at all "effortless" as described. The UI is so clogged and hard to read, and I was left unimpressed by the graphics. the game also crashes sometimes and the camera controls are unpredictable t say the least. There was also no tutorial to speak of- and, sure, I could find one on YouTube but why would it not just come with a PAID game ??- so that was incredibly frustrating. This was not worth the price point of $17 and I would absolutely love a refund for this, as (for me) it was unplayable and thus unenjoyable.

It is what it is. I've made some really cool scenes with it. Google "flickr flowscape gallery" to see what people have made, either alone or in combination with gimp and other art tools. Some of it is very impressive. It is more than a little janky. And the detractors are correct that the UI has a lot of friction and you must rely on YouTube to learn how to use it. For instance, it supports importing outside 3d models but you will only learn that from community tutorials. I've made everything from a rusty Mars sunrise to two frogs on a log under a moon in a cattail swamp. Though never in less than four hours. The biggest problem is that it is both unpolished and undeniably abandoned. But still full price. At a minimum the dev should update the page and own the fact that development is over. He should also establish a new lower price to reflect that. I wish I could recommend an alternative, but I haven't found one. It occupies a unique niche between professional tools like Blender that demand huge investment, and novelty apps that are little more than toys. I've never used anything that lets amateurs like me create such impressive scenes. I'm more than a little sad to see it so neglected. The unreached potential of this app is a loss. If you're the creative type who is willing to spend a whole evening making just one cool picture, then I wholly recommend this on sale. You can and will make something beautiful with this if you try. If you're not willing to bleed a little for your art and just want something easy and shiny right now, then mage.space misses you. Either way, it is what it is.

This game has not been updated since 2021. Do not buy unless you don't mind that the game is dead.

Great Tool for Artist to create custom references and scenes with the addition of different lighting and shading as well. Easy to use and navigate. Has helped me with some more complex fantasy background settings :) (I bought this on sale though, the price is a bit much for the limited options you have)
