Brotato est la preuve qu'il n'y a pas besoin de graphismes ultra réalistes pour créer un jeu incroyablement addictif. Une arène, des vagues d'ennemis, une patate armée jusqu'aux dents... et pourtant, impossible de décrocher. Chaque partie est un casse-tête stratégique. Faut-il investir dans les dégâts, la vitesse d'attaque, l'esquive, les PV, la récolte ? Chaque décision influence complètement le déroulement de la run, et c'est ce qui donne constamment envie de recommencer. Le nombre de personnages, d'armes et de builds possibles est impressionnant. Chaque nouvelle partie pousse à essayer une stratégie différente, et découvrir une combinaison complètement cassée est toujours aussi satisfaisant. Les runs sont courtes, nerveuses et parfaites pour se dire : "Encore une." Puis une deuxième. Puis une dixième. Simple à comprendre, difficile à maîtriser et extrêmement généreux en contenu, Brotato fait partie des meilleurs survivals/roguelites de ces dernières années. Une patate n'a jamais été aussi dangereuse... ni aussi addictive.
