About
Cubed and Dangerous is a challenging twin-stick action roguelike shooter that seamlessly merges elements of Action RPG build-crafting with the thrill of perma-death roguelike gameplay. Recruit new procedurally generated heroes by completing campaign runs, all based off of the 14 unlockable character classes in the game. Grow your collection, cultivate massive power, and take on the cumulative challenge modes or the Infinite Desert.

Collect a massive arsenal of items and weapons that use a procedurally generated augmentation system, where no two items will ever be the same.
Upgrade your best gear even further at the Forge as you constantly shift and change your build to face the challenges ahead.

Acquire powerful game-warping relic items by defeating capstone act bosses, each presenting unique gameplay behaviors and challenges. Bosses have unique weak points and disadvantages to discover and exploit as you refine your skills.

Chart your path through the overworld, choosing risk/reward as you see fit. Choosing higher danger in your path results in access to more drops and collectables; but push your luck too far and you could face an untimely end. Find towns along the way for a relaxing reprieve and some helpful upgrades.

Unlock challenge modes, characters, items and more, ensuring endless replayability. Create a strong enough build and you can take on the Infinite Desert and push it to its limits.

I love 90% of this game, but it's so frustrating to walk into a portal by accident while dodging enemies before I get all the loot. Please fix this.
Fun roguelike isometric shooter that feels good to play with a lot of build variety. Meta progression is good without feeling like it'll break the game.
Beneath the simple art style lies a deep game play loop with interesting decisions to make between equipment and economy. "One more level," I keep telling myself as I stack perk upon perk, making passive income with the interest system, looking for perks to boost said interest system so I can buy more perks. The rogue is strong with this one.
Played the demo and enjoying the full release. I enjoy shooters and it's to have another game I can play on my Steam Deck! Looking forward to seeing more updates.
Basic and boring. Becomes overly repetitive in map, objective, and gameplay design within the first hour.
Great game. Fast action and fascinating challenges. Never boring and lots of different plays. Brilliant.
Perfect game for playing on the deck during downtime at work. Can't wait to see what else they add in the future.
Fun with lots of depth
Great rogue like shoot em up. Controls are smooth, and I enjoyed all the varieties of cube creature, the weapon and upgrade options, and the colorfulness of the world. Fun and satisfying game play as you mow down baddies en masse. A lot of replay ability with all the options. Definitely worth a pick up!
