About
Breakout is back! Choice Provisions (Bit.Trip) has flipped the legendary series on its head. Or rather side. In this neon-drenched take on the classic, you’ll need to literally break through each puzzle by clearing bricks to breach the final goal. Longer play will rack up a combo and increase the intensity of the effects creating a spectacular light show as a reward for the most skilled players.
Special blocks will grant an edge like large brick-clearing blasts, a barrier that’ll save your ball, and a laser cannon to clear a path. Each one will reward players with dazzling dynamic effects that create an excitement that hasn’t been seen in Breakout before.
Each of the 72 levels will push your skills to the limit, but you won’t be without help. A focus mode will allow you to slow down time at the expense of your score. Or, if you want some help and company, you can tag in a friend to play through the entire game in local two-player co-op.
72 levels that will push your brick-breaking skills to the test
Unlockable endless mode with an online global leaderboard
Two-player co-op to manage the chaos with a friend
Procedural audio and visual effects that ramp up with your combo

having played quite a few free breakout games (because i love breakout) im pleased to have paid £6 for this. its very smooth. runs and looks really good and is definitely better than any of the free ones out there.
It's Breakout with a Bit.Trippy twist, what's not to like?
This is not BIT.TRIP BEAT 2 - it’s a true sequel to one of the most iconic games from the dawn of the industry: Breakout. No complications, no reimaginings, no roguelite elements, but with a generous helping of Choice Provisions’ signature audio-visual magic. If you haven’t played Breakout or Arkanoid-style games in ages but still hold this niche genre in high regard, now’s the perfect time to grab a mouse or gamepad and dive back in.
loved the original. loved breakout RECHARGED. Breakout Beyond, however, might have surpassed its predecessors in both aesthetic and execution. fantastically fun and easily accessible for a new generation. fans of the original and recharged will be pleased to find an entirely new game comprised of elements from both the original and the more recently released breakout recharged as well as enough new game mechanics to keep things interesting for those of us who have played the predecessors. nevertheless, enough of the original DNA remains that diehard fans of the original will not be alienated from the experience.
The golden age of arcades <3 Atari > Adamvision Studios > SneakyBox > Dreams Uncorporated > Choice Provisions
Awesome version !! Very addicting !! I was not a fan of the original. But i am a hug fan now because of this modern version of a classic !! I prefer this over Arkenoid !! This has decent graphics and sounds. Plus enough extras to keep us challenged. This version is well presented. With lots of levels !! This game is most def not boring !! You will need great reflexes once that ball gets moving !!! Just keep your eyes wide open !! Love the multiball. it gets wild !!!!!
Co-Reviewed with Copaelus
Four Spirits, One Paddle
This updated Breakout doesn’t just bounce—it booms. Somewhere in the circuitry, I swear I felt the ghost of a hatchet-wielding quarter collector, a pizza prophet, a chip-counting monk, and a ROM whisperer. The paddle moves like it remembers Pong, but dreams in bricks. It’s as if four old friends snuck into the code, left behind a trail of silicon breadcrumbs, and whispered, “Make it simple. Make it sing.”
