can't believe i played this before civvie
Despite it's obscurity, Eradicator holds up well against classic games of the time like Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, and Shadow Warrior. The gameplay consists of the usual 90's FPS fun, but makes itself unique by the vast selection of weapons to use and the large percentage of flying enemies, which gives the game a fast and jumpy feel. There is a lot of replay value to be found, as there are multiple different characters to choose from. While the enjoyability of Eradicator is hampered at some points during the game, it's mostly a brief yet fun adventure into an atmospheric and alien world. If you enjoy Build Engine games like the ones stated earlier, or just FPS games from this time period, check this one out.
I played Eradicator when it first came out in ’96. Replaying it now is still a blast! Chunky graphics, weird gadgets, remote-control drones, and enough switches to qualify as an electrician’s exam. It never got the fame Duke 3D did, but it’s still a fun, quirky shooter. Great nostalgia trip for 90s kids; younger players may need patience … and maybe an FOV slider. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3607770294
年代久远的FPS游戏 操作对于现在来说过于复古,真的挺难适应的(尤其鼠标只能左右移动视角、不能上下移动)
There is a cat-girl, who can chop your ♥♥♥♥ off. (don't look at the timer, I played comfortable Corak's rерасk, instead of this bullshittеrу provided by Nightdive)
7/10
[EN]
Gunfire, Punches, and Bombs
Eradicator is such an underrated 90s FPS! It got overshadowed by the success of Duke Nukem and Shadow Warrior. This one is still good! Eradicator lets you play in first-person or third-person, it's your choice! We have three characters to play as (a fourth one is unlocked after the game's completion). There are also some enemies and explosives that can be controlled remotely, which I found pretty fun. The only two problems with this game are, one - it crashes after the final cinematic, and two - in some levels, you might get stuck in walls, so I'd suggest using the No Clip cheat or reloading the last save. [PT]
Tiro, Porrada e Bomba
A classic overlooked gem. Had it in the 90s. Only downfall is some of the timed door puzzles are so hard you cant progress luckily theres cheats to walk through walls lol.
A real classic. I played this on my dad's computer as a kid with a joystick and keyboard. This game stuck with me for a number of years until i revisited it. Its aged and hasn't gotten a remaster or anything as of yet so i hesitate to recommend it to younger or new players. This is one that could really use a touch up and an fov slider. Let us run it in higher res etc. This game would be a damn good candidate for the same sort of treatment given to Powerslave. If you are a classic fps fan, buy it and play it. If you aren't, bad idea for now.
If you Love DOOM and Duke Nukem 3D, then you gotta play this DOS Classic!
