Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Favorite JRPG of all time. You have the composer of Attack on Titan's first and second opening as the composer of this game's music. Cool main and side characters with actual personalities. A cool and unique battle system introducing the "Brave" and "Default" mechanic. (More moves per turn, and defending to accumulate points to perform more moves per turn.) Yes, the story is not PERFECT, but I don't care because nostalgia. I played the original back when it came out on the Nintendo 3DS.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.33/day in the week to Aug 5 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wunderbares Remaster vom Original.
Against all odds, every moon aligned and square released a basically perfect remake, and the weirdest thing, it was bravely default; which i would argue is one of the hardest remakes they could do (3ds streetpass was a big part of the story and minigames). But here it is, it runs perfectly, it has LOTS of customization options, it lost nothing from losing the second screen (it did lose a minor amazing detail in the final battle because u need a camera for that). Now i have played many square remakes and remaster, most of them are terrible: - Ff9 has a 30 second loading for every battle and crashes a lot - chrono trigger basically doesn't work - ff12 tza is great if u change the default new music that changes the tone of lots of zones - the pixel remaster is an overpriced, undercooked mess that sucks the souls of the old ff (and the difficulty) So i wasn't super excited when i saw BDFF HD remake, but after just playing a few hours is like "YES" I don't know who is that one developer in square that has a soul and remade this but thank you.
Bravely Default is an astoundingly good classic-style RPG. The combat is absolutely delicious - the job system is diverse and flexible, the Brave/Default mechanics add a delightful amount of dimension to boss fights, and the overall game feel perfectly captures the feeling of a true classic Final Fantasy-style game. The story and game structure test your patience in their late stages (an understatement, certainly), but the cast is wonderful, the villains are memorable from start to finish, and the game's core twist is awesome. This game was trapped on the 3DS for far too long, and having it on modern platforms is absolutely fantastic. I really adore the main party in particular when it comes to the cast, but I mean it when I say that pretty much every major character is memorable and leaves a mark on you. Theming them around the jobs they give you upon defeat results in a wide variety of personalities and philosophies, but the developers also make efforts to subvert expectations when it comes to personality and job pairings, which helps greatly in letting these characters make a big impact with limited screen time. They're not universally great, of course - the obligatory pervert sage character I could have done without - but the duds are enormously outweighed by the hits, especially the main cast. Edea my beloved I would die for you. Now, look, alright, the late game thing that everyone has probably heard about is a drag. I think it probably goes on two or three segments too long for most people, and I think it's fair to have a decent amount of disdain for the monotony of it. What I don't agree with is the idea that the back end of this game ruins the experience of the front end. Yes, it's a drag, but it's worth pushing through to experience the true end of this game, which circles right back around to the high quality of the rest of the story to that point. Plus, Bravely's side content is so comparatively sparse that if you really want to, you can rip through that monotonous set of segments relatively quickly by cutting out the fat surrounding them. It's the game's major flaw, certainly, but it doesn't kill the rest of it. Bravely Default is a delight. It's the perfect game to recommend to a friend who crows about Final Fantasy no longer being turn based, because it feels like Final Fantasy III-2, or maybe an alternative FFIV with no ATB system. If you love classic, true turn-based JRPGs, and all the baggage that comes with the label, Bravely Default is the game for you, I promise. Thug it out and play it cover to cover. You won't regret it. ringabel's panic cruise can burn in hell though
It's peak, I'm afraid.
