Haven't played very far but so far the game is a nice flashback to what adventure games used to be with some added some comfort features of modern gaming. Agree with some of the reviews that sound mixing could be better, but love the characters, atmosphere and lore. I'll update this review when I've played more.
Didn't enjoy. Graphics were really poor, especially if you consider this was released in 2022. Had to refund. I would never buy this at full price.
I liked the nostalgia.
Well, quite funny and interesting.. but the end.. feels to rushed. All the (extensive) lore and stuff feels wasted in a way. Still funny enough for the money, but it feels like something is missing at the end.
Actually re-installed Steam for this lol, friend (hey TieE) recommended this because I used to be a PC gamer back then. Nice so far. I like the art style, really good voiceovers and the main character is charming (haven't seen the others yet though). I'm 2 or 3 hours in and I've still only seen three rooms so far. Maybe I'm being slow, but the puzzles so far seem a bit hard. There was one glitch where pressing escape would softlock me and had to load an autosave. I'll update when I get to play a bit more.
Born to be punk Right on. Fun time
managed to softlock the game when first playing the android. lame.
Born Punk delivers a strong cyberpunk vibe with stylish pixel art and a fitting soundtrack that sets the tone nicely. The ability to switch between multiple characters adds depth, and it’s great to see that your choices actually affect how things play out. The story keeps you engaged without trying too hard. Oh, and there are cats. ❤ The voice acting is also surprisingly good and adds a lot to the characters and overall atmosphere. Also, let’s be honest: there just aren’t enough cyberpunk point-and-click adventures out there. Born Punk fills that gap with charm and confidence. All in all, a solid and entertaining adventure with enough personality to stand out.
