Reviews
The writing lets itself down but the gameplay is superb.

Amazing guns. Terrible everything else. Gearbox please hire new writers.
The game is so unfunny, as soon as the british person came in and started making cringe jokes I started questioning my sense of self. How could anyone rate this game positive i dont know
Anything past Borderlands 2 never happened and this game as well as Borderlands 4 were just hallucinations. Sarcasm aside, this game is okay, but the story itself could've been better and the main villains are very generic and not really villains at all. The game is carried by its gameplay, and even that has its fair share with flaws, as with Borderlands 2.
Its a great game, if you just wanna turn off your brain and start shooting
The narrative is not nearly as awful as I remember it being on my initial playthrough. It's not good, to be clear, but at its worst it's just kinda cringe and unfunny. The writing is bad, and never caring about any of the characters is a huge low point after the excellent cast of BL2, but those are the only complaints I have. The gun/gameplay is excellent, there's an awesome variety in the environments, and the side quests have a good mix of length, tone, and structure. I'm writing this after leveling a character to 72 for the first time (I usually stop at 50) and I had a really fun ~40 hours doing so. I did have quite a few crashes unfortunately. Mostly when there was way too much happening on screen in terms of particle effects and whatnot. The game also refused to save my graphics settings. It was a simple fix since I just turned the preset to Medium (it's cell shaded and highly stylized so who cares?) but it was annoying nonetheless. Not enough to stop me from playing though.
