i need to edit game file just to make the game playable (the resolution is cropping out)
This is the best game ever. it's great i love it. i really found myself while playing this game. learned who i really am and embraced it in a spiritual way. i wish the world was a little bit like bonetown without the violence part which is fine for the game but people just enjoying each other being raunchy together boning and smoking weed and doing shrooms. i genuinely love this game. i adore it. the out there jokes don't even offend my. i really love how passionate the devs seem about everything being fully consensual. its very sweet and also its so accepting of gay and trans and all that stuff. the only thing is i wish you could play the game as a woman too. like switch and choose. maybe more dlc will come out and maybe the devs will make a mode for that but yeah. i will be playing this game until i die or the world ends. i recommend for open minded people who like me love sexual stuff and just being imperfect and real. its also nice to support a self project. also there is so much content in it. i did not expect so many maps in one game it just kept going and there might be more.
The sex animations are very stiff, the game's design and mechanics are average and not that well done but the game overall is creative, charming and fun... If we had actual Hollywood studio grade porn games, I'd definitely gives the a thumbs down but this is the best we have so far, sadly... More big game developers need to grow a pair of balls and take a swing at making their own porn video games like this.
BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition, developed and published by D-Dub Software with Shady Corner Games assisting in distribution, is one of the most notorious adult-oriented sandbox games ever released. Originally launched in 2008 and later updated for modern systems, the game blends open-world exploration, crude satire, beat-’em-up combat, and fully explicit sexual mechanics into a single unapologetically provocative package. It does not attempt subtlety, restraint, or mainstream appeal. Instead, it embraces shock value, raunchy humor, and freedom-driven gameplay in a way that places it firmly within a niche corner of gaming. At its core, BoneTown is structured as an open-world action-adventure. Players explore multiple interconnected areas filled with NPCs, enemies, shops, and mission givers. The structure loosely resembles early 3D sandbox titles, with free roaming, side quests, collectibles, and combat encounters forming the backbone of progression. Movement is simple and direct, with the ability to run, jump, fight, and interact with characters throughout the city. The world is divided into themed zones, each populated with exaggerated caricatures that reflect the game’s irreverent tone. Combat mechanics are straightforward and somewhat rough around the edges. Players can engage in melee fights against hostile NPCs using punches, kicks, and occasional power moves. Weapons and consumable items provide temporary boosts or chaotic effects, reinforcing the game’s arcade-like energy. While the fighting system lacks the fluidity and depth of modern action titles, it serves its purpose within the sandbox structure. Enemy AI is functional but basic, and combat tends to prioritize quantity over complexity. For some players, the raw and unpolished feel adds to the underground charm; for others, it highlights the game’s technical limitations. What sets BoneTown apart—and defines its identity—is how deeply adult content is integrated into gameplay. Sexual encounters are not passive cutscenes but interactive mechanics that directly influence character progression. Players increase a stat humorously referred to as the “Balls” meter, which determines eligibility to pursue certain characters and unlock additional explicit content. Seduction sequences involve timing-based mini-games that require input rather than passive viewing. Sex acts restore health, advance progression, and act as tangible rewards within the system. Unlike many adult games that isolate erotic content from core gameplay, BoneTown fuses it directly into its design. The humor is intentionally crude, frequently offensive, and deeply satirical. The writing lampoons pop culture, religion, race, stereotypes, and social norms with zero subtlety. It feels closer to an adult animated parody than a conventional RPG narrative. This tone is consistent throughout dialogue, mission names, character archetypes, and even environmental design. For players who appreciate shock comedy and exaggerated satire, this approach can feel bold and refreshing. For others, the reliance on juvenile humor and boundary-pushing jokes may feel excessive or lacking nuance. Visually, BoneTown retains much of its late-2000s indie 3D aesthetic. Character models, textures, and animations reflect its original release era, even with updates included in The Second Coming Edition. The game is functional on modern systems, but it does not compete graphically with contemporary open-world titles. However, the stylized and somewhat dated presentation contributes to its cult identity. Voice acting enhances the exaggerated personalities of characters and reinforces the game’s comedic ambitions. Over time, BoneTown has developed a cult following. Early reactions were largely critical, with many dismissing it as an interactive adult novelty rather than a serious game. However, the Steam release allowed it to find a more receptive audience among players specifically seeking explicit sandbox experiences. Reviews remain divided: supporters praise its boldness, freedom, and willingness to exist outside conventional boundaries, while detractors point to its rough mechanics, dated visuals, and reliance on shock humor. Ultimately, BoneTown stands as a deliberately provocative and unapologetic adult sandbox experience. It does not aim for mainstream polish or narrative sophistication. Instead, it offers open-world freedom layered with explicit mechanics and irreverent satire. For players who understand its tone and seek a boundary-pushing, adult-themed action game with sandbox elements, it delivers exactly what it promises. For others, its style and content will likely be polarizing. Regardless of perspective, BoneTown remains a unique entry in gaming history—one that carved out a space by fully committing to its controversial identity. Rating: 8/10
I didn't play for very long, under an hour, but the gameplay annoyed me so much I don't want to continue any further. This game is terrible. The UI, HUD, and controls are the most offensive things about this game. It's ugly as hell. This game came out in 2021 but it feels like its from the 90's/00's, and not in a charming way. There's just way too many buttons to keep in mind and the gameplay just... isn't fun. The fighting is annoying more than anything. Really boring combat and getting stunned after one hit only to have a bunch of other guys get in on it and stun you more just gets on my nerves. I like being able to actually move around in games. The writing, characters, crude humor, doesn't bother me personally. Its more cringe than anything. If you just want a game to get off to, this aint it lol.
the game locked me out of the final mission after going to the main menu
